Great food, horrible service. I love the food here but I recommend ordering takeout. Last time I ate there the service was horrible, my friends food arrived 20 minutes before mine. We didnt eat all our food and the waitress practically threw the take out boxes at us while tables around us had their food boxed and brought to the table. Unfortunate since the food really is great.

This is a Thai restaurant truly worth trying!. There are so many Thai places to choose from now. we have tried dozens in Seattle over the past 20 years (when there were only a handful) and keep exploring new ones as they crop up - we keep going back here over and over again, these guys are definitely worth trying. In addition to the standards, they have several interesting and unique dishes on the menu, I recommend the Forest Curry as well as the Rainbow (seafood) Salad , both truly great dishes. Flavors are always balanced, never over or under sauced and "hot" isn't just a handful of chili pepper flakes thrown in at the end. We've been returned dozens of times and find the food to be consistently great and service solidly above average. It has a very nice bar but it doesn't get used very much. The decor is upscale and quite nice but it does have unusual tables and chairs, quite lovely but not a whole lot of room for western feet if you like to stretch out to make room for more great food. Only weakness I've found is truly a small one - their thai iced tea is OK but they premix it every day so you can't request a change to the dairy ratio or avoid it altogether. Enjoy!

Decent Thai place. Stylish atmosphere and the food is pretty good. The service was a little slow, but as one reviewer mentioned, the courtesy more than makes up for the delay. A touch on the pricey side, but worth checking out.

I have eaten here so many times.... ...and have never been let down. The staff here is so wonderful and sweet. They'll keep the place open past their regular hours if you're in there taking your time and not paying attention to the hour. They always make you feel at home and the interior is so beautifully decorated. Nice comfortable booths which are cushy and soft. Their pad see iew is extra yummy, as are their pomegranate martinis! I discovered their drink menu one night when I wanted to avoid some of the downtown traffic over the holidays. They have a cutesy little bar in the back, and the bartenders are very helpful and can mix up a great drink. I'm so happy to have this place in Lake City!

great, cheap thai food with good atmosphere. Thai One On is my new favorite Thai restaurant near my house. Their phad thai is great, not the sweet, ketchup-y type that I usually classify as "American" Thai. I love the wonton soup, the broth is delicious, the wontons are meaty, and there are lots of them (plus barbequed pork) in the soup. Tup Tim Thai used to be my favorite place for fried rice, but this restaurant definitely rivals it. I really like Marlai Thai as well, but Thai One On is significantly cheaper. The only thing they are missing is the beef and tomato dish Marlai Thai makes....The atmosphere is great, I love the mod bar, and the staff is very friendly. I have been there several times, and have yet to have a bad experience. They have even been a little slow, but their courteousness made up for it.

FRESH, DELICIOUS, and WORTH the drive to the Lake City Area!!. I have eaten at this place 3 times in last 2 weeks! I sit at work and CRAVE it! They have a great menu with lots to choose from. The food is always bursting with authentic thai flavors, the vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the interior of the place is inviting!

Quality food and great service. Thai One On is tastefully (if whimsically) decorated and has a very lively feel. It's one of very few restaurants in Lake City that I can describe with a straight face as being classy. The food is slightly more expensive than at most Thai places, but the quality of the ingredients, preparation, and service more than justify it. The waitstaff has always been friendly and attentive. The vast menu includes a nice selection of affordable desserts. I've had good experiences with both rice- and noodble-based dishes, but I must warn you if you are new to Thai - anything above 2 or 3 on the spice scale is very, very hot!
