Good beer, fun people. This is a great place to meet people and have a good laugh. The bartenders are great people and if it is slow, they will come chat it up with you. I have only had one bad experience there in the year that I have been going.

There is a good variety of beer there, although I go for only one. It was switched out, and when I made a comment about it, it was brought back.

Some great names for comedy come through there, so that is another good reason to go. If you like pool, there are plenty of tables with little or no wait time. Fridays and Saturdays are busy, but is still fun. I think the best nights are Monday and Wednesdays, quieter and more tables open, but if you want to go people watch, then by all means, Friday and Saturday.

Best place to go anywhere in the east side hands down in my book.

Came to laugh, left crying. Action story included.. The rudest place we have ever been to! We had tix for comedy show for New Year's. We came in with our dear friends from out of town. We do not drink and are honest, hard working folks like anyone else. We are in health care profession, serving people and working hard, giving and volunteering for our community, etc. I am a nurse, who is exhausted and was looking forward to laugh for New Years with her close friends. Sometimes it would be nice to be treated nicely as well, especially for something we were looking forward to and paid good money for. From the start we were treated with rudeness. Then, we were separated from our friends and seated in different spots. We were so upset. We had VIP great seats and were willing to give them away to the people our friends were sitting with now (only 2 tables away!). Those folks got really excited and didn't mind to take our seats and switch over. In the midst of it all, the man calling himself the "manager" with name "Carlo" intercepted us all and started yelling at us! He had a stoned, glassy look in his eyes and his face looked 'zombified' and sweaty. He was so rude to us and started yelling delirious things that made no sense at all! He was saying: "I am the owner of this place! I rule this place. I own this place and you have no right to change seats without MY permission! Who gave you permission to do so? You just come here and think you can do whatever you want? Who do you think you are? I tell you where to seat and what to do. Go back to your seats NOW and stay quiet!" We were all in such shock and ACTUALLY apologized by saying that we are actually giving out BETTER seats to these people and we even switched out tickets, but he started shoving us and made us trade the tix back, and was very violent. My husband actually tried to calm him down by apologizing more and friendly putting his hand on manager's shoulder, but he got even more delirious and was pretending he is the "big gun in town" and that "no one messes with him"! There was obviously no reasoning with this violent rude person and he spoiled our whole evening. Later, we noticed people were switching seats around and no one cared! There was no order in this place. They made it look like it was "tight security" and said they were sold out of tickets and turning elegant and sober people away, while girls touching security guy at the entrance and flirting got to go in without ID being checked or tickets. We also overheard someone saying they simply printed and made copies of tickets and they simply go in with no problems because all that checking is an act and there is no order. All that fiasco and "security" show was such a ridiculous waist of everyone's time and money. I would NEVER recommend my friends to go to this place. Staff rudeness and complete plain DISRESPECT is beyond believable. At least our waitress was nice and we did leave her 40% tip for our $10 bottle of water we got. After the show I came up to this "manager claiming guy" and told him that we didn't appreciate being separated from our friends and not allowed to switch seats earlier on. He had that same paralyzed look to his face and yelled at me saying "what do you want me to do?!" I said: "I want nothing from you", just wanted to tell him how rude he is and that we didn't appreciate his treatment at all. He just turned around and marched away, while this security guy grabbed my arm and started dragging me away, by telling me that I "should just have fun and go away!" The disrespect there was beyond words! I understand that there is a lot tension and drunks out there and they need to deal with all that, but it doesn't mean that the rest of civilized and well mannered folks are supposed to pay for other people's behavior by being degraded like this and humiliated. it's an outrage!

Nice atmosphere, beware of crowds. It's got a great atmosphere and lots of friendly people. This place may be a victim of its own success though as their can be crowds. It's all good though.

looking for a "tech" guy?. Looking for a "tech" guy? This is the place he hangs out for happy hour. Go with a girlfriend and sit in the bar. After an hour, make eye contact with him and send her to the restroom so that he has an "opening" to come over and talk. If he is too shy to come over, after your girlfriend comes back from the restroom, get HER to invite him and his friend to play billiards with you guys (you should not do the asking -- she has to do it for you). Leave the rest to him.
