Editorial Review for The Other Coast Cafe – by Brenda Stice
In Short
The subs speak for themselves: Loaded with premium Boar's Head meats and homemade marinara, pesto and salsa mayo, their New York influence is in every bite. The menu includes piles of ham, turkey, roast beef and a few specialties such as the "Other Coaster," made with three layers of rye, Russian dressing, coleslaw, Swiss and choice of turkey or roast beef. A hearty mouthful, the cafe provides a satisfying lunch--to say the least.

Seattle has some good food, but deli's are so missing. I don't understand how people get excited for Quizno's and Subway-- it boggles the mind of everyone who has ever lived on the right coast. Enter Other Coast Cafe... Delicious Boar's Head meats and sandwich's that are piled high with meat, cheese (real cheese!!!) and delicious veggies. I am not going to recommend a particular sandwhich, but the hot ones are always awesome on these crappy Seattle days that we keep having. Just go there and give it a shot--and I think you'll kiss those Subway Meatball subs goodbye. (I hope!)
Pros: Real deli meats and cheeses, great selection
Cons: Long lines, somewhat irrelevant customer service.
