Small local chain stays true to its neighborhood roots and serves up some fine italian brew.. In Short
Plastic bins of whole-bean coffee greet you at the door, including Magnolia Blend, named for the neighborhood where Appassionato was founded and where this store is located. Italian-accented violins play from ceiling speakers. Espresso drinks from those fresh-roasted beans--served in classic ceramic cups--can be nursed at a sit-down coffee bar, at one of the rows of wooden tables, or at an outside patio. For lunch, try the spicy panini sandwiches or fresh soup.
