Tart is awesome! The studio itself is a great space, and theres always cool art on the walls to look at! Every stylist is very friendly and talented! Elizabeth is especially great and I always leave feeling 100% satisfied. She is great, genuine and really funny and entertaining while you're getting your hair done, and makes you feel welcome. No awkward small talk! She's extremely talented with her scissors and my color has always looked shiny and amazing, not fried or overdone. LOVE her!

Best hair stylist ever. I'm one of those people that never go get their hair done because it has always turned out bad! My experience with Elizabeth at Tart has changed that. This girl is EXACTLY what I have been looking for in a hair stylist. She has good taste, listens to your wants and needs, and has a wide variety of skills. Elizabeth is absolutely wonderful, hands down the best hair stylist I have ever had. She styled my hair for my wedding, and since then I have gone back to her for a cut and color. Her prices are ridiculously affordable! For her quality of work you would expect to pay twice as much, but her prices are the best. She has exceeded my expectations every time I see her. I am extremely happy to have found Elizabeth! An added bonus, the salon is absolutely adorable, very inviting, and charming. You are treated with excellent customer service as you are offered water, coffee, wine, or a magazine. Check this girl out, she is worth it.

One of the best cuts ever!. I went to Tart recently and saw Jami. She was amazing! The cut I received - which was a drastic change for me by cutting over a foot off - was all by her design and her idea and ended up to be such a great new style for me. She also very graciously gave me the leftover hair to send to Locks of Love. She also accommodated me with a late appointment since I work and can rarely get out for a couple of hours. After a glass of wine, a great hair cut and foil and great conversation, I went home very happy. I am a new life-long customer of Tart. Also the Bumble & Bumble full line is available if you - like me - have been looking for somewhere to get the more rare B&B products. Great salon, great stylist! I highly recommend.

Does this place still exist?. After reading the reviews, I was SO excited to book an appointment for a MUCH needed cut here... but all my phonecalls fail to go through and my e-mail was returned undeliverable.

So... it's either

A) Really annoying if they're out of business that #1 they're still listed on here and #2 they still have a web site that doesn't say anything about them being closed.

or

B) Really annoying that their contact information is all wrong.

Ballards hidden secret... Elizabeth @ Tart !!!!!. I am a down to earth girl who likes to look fashionable but personable. I have always felt completely taken care of when I see Elizabeth. She is great at listening to my ideas and imputing her own knowledge with out making me feel out of the loop! I have been able to change up my style several times while maintaining my personal comfort and routine. All along the way getting pointers and advice on new products and styles that will fit my daily life.... Basically Elizabeth is awesome and she has NEVER dissapoited me, I can't think of anyone else I would trust with my hair and she has a killer sense of humor that will brighten up even the rainiest days!!!!

Tracy is Amazing!. I followed Tracy from her previous salon and have found her to be the most talented stylist I have ever been too, with the bonus of being such a bright spirit, down to earth and lots of fun. She knows exactly how to cut curly hair and has been helping me grow my hair out without it looking like mushroom head! She has done a few colors on me but mostly glosses and great cuts! She is worth the drive!

In a mood..... So, I woke up one Saturday morning (last one to be exact) and thought to myself..."Does my hair fit who I am right now?" and decided I needed a change. Jami put the cape around me and asked what we were doing today. I told her I wanted my hair A LOT darker and with severe Retro bangs. After a color consultation (where she talked me into doing one shade lighter to avoid crazy shock - and she was right...as usual), we got right to it. I've been going to Jami for over a year and have had nothing but amazing results. Once again, she did not let me down!!! She's the kind of stylist that remembers the little details of your life and is conversational without being too talkative. She's extremely talented, fun, funNY and absolutely worth the hour drive to her salon from my new house.

I almost want to keep this review a secret because I'm selfish and don't want to have trouble getting an appt with her. :)

Butcher job. The owner Jaime cut my hair, I wanted a trim but got a severe haircut, but the top was still long and bushy, I asked her to thin out and cut into the loft of hair left behind, and she cut into it so deeply that there are now parts that feel bristly to the touch. I had to go home and attempt to salvage what was left of my hair, and even out the parts that were uneven and where there were random longer stray hairs. Probably one of the worst haircuts of my life. Next time I will pay the extra money and go to Vain.

Highly Overrated. I'll just stick to the facts.

Jami spent about 25 minutes total on me--even though I was getting almost a foot of hair cut off.

When I paid, Jami did not even make eye contact, lazily muttering "your welcome."

I left with hair stuck to my face and neck.

The cut was pretty darn sloppy and choppy, and lacked the attention to layering that I am used to.

I don't know where all of this glorious feedback comes from. Are these real customers? I might have caught her on a bad day but that is no excuse.

Ladies, I suggest you go elsewhere.

As for me, it's off to Vain I go...

You will love your hair!. Jami has been cutting my hair for a few years now...and every time I go in to Tart, I come out looking awesome. The salon is light, airy, clean, and I've never waited to be seen more than 5 or 10 minutes. I love Jami and all the other gals at Tart!
