The Scene
Lemon-chiffon colored walls and tables adorned with their own bright blue carafe of olive oil give the dining room of this Italian establishment an ambience of warmth and home-cooking. A long, winding staircase leads up to more seating overlooking the busy kitchen where one is sure to catch some of the alluring aromas of basil and garlic wafting upwards.
The Food
Eschewing the traditional Italian three-course meal, the menu offers a long list of pastas and a few daily specials. Portions are large, so diners are advised to start with something small--the marinated grilled Portobellos are a knockout. There are house-made pastas to please everyone at the table; regulars swear by the mushroom risotto and the creamy fettuchini alla Perche'No, topped with perfectly grilled shrimp. For dessert, the mascarpone "lasagna" is a bit much after a hearty meal, but ricotta drizzled with honey is a perfect not-too-sweet end.

Just returned from dinner at this restaurant. Not quite sure what to say or where to start. .. it was like going to a bad italian restaurant in the old days - service was lazy and not an ounce of charm from the waiter. SImply dropped off the dishes with not the least of interest. Dirty tablecloth and a miss mash of dishes/cutlery on the table. The food was marginal at best, and there were 5 of us, so we has a good sampling. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone - especially nowadays when people have been exposed to a certain degree of finesse in cooking - especially in italian dining. With the cost of dining out these days, they have a long way to go to make anyone want to eat here.
Pros: can't think of any really

We just can't say enough about the meal we had there last night. The service was prompt and friendly without being invasive. We were treated like family. The food was as good as anything we have had in Italy. The pasta was phenomenal, the risotto with squid ink was the best ever!! Everything was fresh and fabulous!!!!
Pros: Great food and service!!!!!!!! A++
Cons: none
