great service; great color and cut. Gretchen Scott and team always satisfy. I take a seat and let them have their way with me! They know what looks good for my features and style and talk to me about how I like to care for my hair. I get the best, most beautiful color and an easy to manage cut. I recommend them continuously to my friends and co-workers!

Not good for large parties (sorry brides!). I would not recommend this place for a medium or large bridal party. When you go for larger party they ask that you prepay for the service you would like so that "you won't have to worry about anything on the day of".

I could explain in more detail about the less-than-expected service and quality, but the reason for my bad review is this: I was charged an additional $30 for a hairstyle they later explained was formal. AFTER I HAD LEFT THE SALON!

Not once did they tell me the hair style I wanted (a loose French braid/bun) was going to be more then the agreed on price. I wouldn't think a hairstyle that takes 15-20 minutes should be charged as an $80 formal up-do!!

If this only happened to me, I would shrug it off as a miscommunication. Unfortunately this additional charge was given to FOUR others in the bridal party. Since they only had my number on file, they left me a voicemail to tell the good news to the others.

When I called to ask about my additional $30 charge Gretchen stated she would take me to small claims court if I questioned the validity of the charge to the bank. I tried to reason with her but she would end sentences with a "is that all you want" "you're wrong" "are you done yet?". Not very professional for a business owner!

SOOOOOoooooo I decided to pay the $30 but leave a little review for others to see…

a matter of trust. Gretchen Scott and staff continue their tradition of excellence. I put myself totally in their hands and my cuts and color always exceed my expectations. No matter which stylist, they all have the profound talent to know what looks best for my features. I am never disappointed.

I'm hooked!!. I love Gretchen Scott Salon. I have been shopping around forever and I was refered by a friend who sees Sarah. I enjoyed her a lot, she changed my look and I loved how she showed me how to style my hair. They have a wonderful little wine shop downstaires and at the salon they carry Bb! I'm hooked!

I love going to Gretchen Scott salon. I love having my color and haircuts done by Angela and Sarah at Gretchen's. They all work together great - and I can get in easily. and I have difficult hair sometimes. It's a bargain in Woodinville, compared to Bellevue prices. I also LOVE the haircolor by Aveda.

Cutest and Best Eastside Salon. This is a cute little hair salon in Woodinville where everyone is friendly. I would recommend Kendall, she is great at giving you what you want and not what she wants, but if you need a suggestion she can help with that too.
