One of the few good coin dealers in Seattle area. One of the few good coin dealers in Seattle area. This shop and Northgate coin are the only 2 dealers in the area I would be comfortable selling to especially if I didn't know what my coins were worth.

I have been in the shop many times and have observed them buying from and selling to new/non collecters and they take the time to explain offers, and make sure they are fair. They also have a printout that they hand out to new collectors with what coins to look for.

Also - for long time collectors - they know coins and will talk coins - and if they don't have something you want they may know who does and be able to get it for you.

COIN MARKET LIED TO ME, TRIED TO RIP ME OFF. I brought some old gold jewelry in to sell, I asked what percentage of the gold price they pay and was told 70%. They weighed my jewelry and quoted me a lower figure. I asked if the price they just offered was 70% of gold value and the girl told me she didn't know. I pulled out my cell phone for the calculator and started doing the math. The store's owner saw me doing the math and said "oh we don't pay 70%". I said that they had just told me they did and he told me to take my business somewhere else. I wasn't the least bit rude or confrontational, you just aren't welcome to do the math in they're store because they are ripping you off. After I got home I found out that Pacific Iron & Metal in Seattle pays 88%. Stay away from these con men.
