Qfc
awful.
Everytime I go here something unfortunate occurs. I left my cart for 5 minutes and my items were reshelved (by the manager, no less!). They packed a hot chicken in the same bag as the ice cream. I had a cart with a bad wheel, notifiied the checker. He was flippant about the problem and did nothing to take the cart out of service. I suggested he do so and he was rude. Lines are always long. For a pricey Fred Meyer, I really would expect better quality and service. The renovation was cosmetic only. Who cares if you have a sushi counter when you can't do your basic shopping quickly and hassle free?
Maybe other QFC's are better. Unfortunately they have only two groceries on our regular commuting route- both QFC's. Kroger, I ask you, how about another Freddie's, or give us either Quality or Value. Is that too much to ask?
This regional supermarket chain has been serving the grocery needs of the Northwest since 1954..
In Short
Founded in Seattle, Quality Food Center (QFC) has since spread throughout the Pacific Northwest to become one of the region's largest grocery chains. In 1998, QFC expanded its reach when it was acquired by grocery mega-corporation Kroger. All sores offer quality produce, meat and fish counters, fresh-baked goods, full-service delis and flower departments; many have pharmacies. The chain is also well-known for its comprehensive wine department--wine stewards are often present to suggest food pairings.
