Great Shop, Super Nice Guy!. I looked for a small shop after a lousy experience with the Toyota dealer in my neighborhood. I have taken my cars to John 5-6 times in the past year, and he has been consistently friendly and helpful. Everytime, the charges have been raesonable and I have had no problems with my cars at all. It is rare to find guys like John in this business, and I am thankful I found him! In the past 25 years, I have felt this good about a car mechanic only twice, and the other time was in Richmond, Virginia 20 years ago!

Best Automotive Repair & Maintenance Find. Wow, what a find! Not only is it very convenient, but John the owner and operator is the nicest guy! We've been to John at least 5 times now for tune ups, oil changes, checking brakes and each and every time, John did a wonderful job, on time, very very reasonable and explained to me all that he noticed and did. He is tremendously honest and knows his business. Truly the place to go -- we're so grateful.

Fantastic Business Establishment. John is the auto technician here and can do every repair there is to be done on a car. What's more, he does it for the lowest price in town and with a big smile. Great guy, great establishment, rock bottom prices. A hidden gem on Cougar Mountain in Bellevue that I'd recommend everyone take their car to.

By the way, the person right below me who gave it a bad review is an idiot.

Seemingly great place, not so sure now. I took my car to Lakemont Automotive because it was walking distance to my house and I wouldn't have to wait around there while they fixed my car. They did an oil change on it, checked my fluid levels and John outlined some other things that he recommended to get done. He was polite and made things easy for me to understand. Then, 3 days later, my car started overheating. Since I was just barely out of my driveway when it happened, Lakemont Automotive was the closest, so I drove it in there. John remembered my name from before and took a look at my coolant levels, which he said looked normal, but he would have to get it in the shop (charging me normal mechanic rates) to see. He theorized it might be the thermostat, but stressed he wasn't sure. I had to go to an important appointment and my car was still basically driveable so I took my car with the intent to bring it back the next day. I ultimately decided to take it back to Firestone because they had replaced my entire cooling system a year prior and I was hoping it would still be under warranty. When I got it to Firestone, they said that my coolant was over 1/2 empty (over a gallon) as a result of a lot of loose tube connections and it had probably been going on for months. They tightened everything and even filled my coolant at no charge, causing my heat to work again, which had been out for months. The low coolant levels certainly couldn't have happened in the 24 hours between when John said the coolant levels were normal and when I took it to Firestone. I feel like I avoided being taken for a ride, which is too bad because Lakemont Automotive felt like such a nice, well-kept shop.

Lakemont Automotive has incredible integrity and treats women with the utmost respect!. Today was my first time bringing my car into Lakemont Automotive in Bellevue/Issaquah on Lakemont Blvd. John is the owner. What a nice guy! He worked at Greg's Japanese Auto for 18 years before starting his own business which is located below the chevron station on Lakemont Blvd.

I am a 23 year old woman, with a nice car, who doesn't appear to know a thing about cars... because I don't ! Most auto shops would likely see me as a young girl that they could easily take advantage of. Lakemont Automotive treated me with the utmost respect.

John was incredibly reasonable and very easy to work with. He actually told me the things that I did not need done on my car! He gave me options for my budget and spoke in layman terms so that I could understand what he was suggesting for my vehicle.

I am a customer for life. Customer service of this magnitude is hard to find, I appreciate his integrity and recommend him highly.
