I went to Ambrosia to cover up an old tattoo from college days an was so happy with Doz's artwork! I came back a couple of years later to further add onto that tattoo and love the results of that experience as well. Doz has also helped me with my latest tattoo of a large dragon on my back. He took a basic line drawing and really turned it into a work of art. Everybody who has seen it is so impressed with it's detail and haven't even had the color put into the black and white drawing yet! I know it's going to look amazing when it is fully done and I have referred several friends that are considering a tattoo to Ambrosia. Doz is truly an artist and I know I will never regret getting my bodywork done by him!…

He met with me and prepared a custom design based on the general idea that I had. Two days later, I have a beautiful cherry blossom tattoo that I am absolutely thrilled with. The real deal.
When it comes to getting body art, only one thing really matters: is the tattoo artist actually an artist. Doz surely is.
I thoroughly researched artists on the Eastside before making an appointment. His website speaks for itself. My friend and I went in together to have a sentimental saying written on our ribcage. Doz's expertise was obvious, especially as he talked about "working with the skins texture" to make the tattoo clear. The cleanliness of the shop was impressive, he took a lot of prep time between our tattoos making sure that all tools and every crevice of the chair was cleaned. A very important detail.
You gotta give Doz the chance to warm up to you. When we first met him that morning he was all business and not much personality, but by the time we left a few hours later we were all bursting with personality :) It was a great experience. I will certainly have more work done by him in the future. If you are serious about body art Doz is you guy.…

My daughter and I share a very special day at Ambrosia!.
Two years ago, my daughter and I came up with an idea - actually, she came up with an idea and was rather surprised I went along with idea! A tattoo was not in my life plan. We had many reasons –
some we shared and some personal – that convinced us this was something we truly wanted. We wanted a tattoo marking some life experiences and paying them tribute in art. We spent lots of time creating the art work idea using the reasons behind the idea and discussing exactly where we would place our permanent body art. We also spent lots of time asking questions about where people got their tattoos done. The most beautiful tattoos we found were done and created at Ambrosia Tattoo Gallery! We called and met with the "TatGuy Doz” and explained what we wanted... He gave us very detailed information about what to expect, how it was all done and even gave us his estimated cost. He was also actually able to get a sketch done and allow us to come in the next day. That's when the whole idea became a commitment and got a little scary - but exciting!
Our experience at The Ambrosia shop was amazing! He spent 3 hours on each one of our beautiful peacock feather foot tattoos! It was an amazing experience and spending that much time (sometimes in quite a bit of pain) allowed us to get to know this wonderful artist! We felt comfortable and welcome and his energy was amazing! That was a long day for all of us – but he kept on creating! The place was spotless and he was very good about keeping everything always clean. His place also felt warm and welcoming and we always felt informed throughout each step of the process. It truly was an amazing experience and to have shared that special time with my beautiful daughter was priceless. One of the best parts of this whole experience was knowing we would have a beautiful permanent tattoo – one we dreamed of and Doz made into a reality!
