Worst lunch experience on the Ave. I had takeout lunch at Thai 65 today and there was a dead fly in my red chicken curry. I called to tell them about my discovery 30 minutes after I picked it up my food. I asked for them to refund my money for the lunch and while the woman apologized for the dead fly in my food, she told me that they do not refund money…period. The woman did tell me I could come by and she would make me some more food sans bugs, but I declined. I know this is a U-District restaurant--but for $10 red curry and brown rice I do expect it to be bug-free. At the least they could take responsibility and refund my meal. This is my last time here. Sorry Thai 65, but there are cleaner Thai restaurants around the Ave that will treat me better.

One of the better thai restaurants in seattle. This is one of my favorite places to eat. Consistently good food, fast service, cheap prices. The pad thai is excellent. One this to beware of is that the star system is a little heavy handed. I usually order 2 stars but I have to order 1 when I come here. Also, this restaurant recently stopped service beef in any of its dishes.

Poor Service, Good Food. I have been to Thai 65 a few times. Everytime I go we are always seated promptly. In my most reacent experience although we did not have to wait for a seat, the service was still poor. The woman who seated us seemed to be less than happy to be working and they forgot to bring my friends drink until we reminded them. When we got the food (pork pad thai) is was delicious as usual but we had to wait long after we were finished eating to find someone to give us to-go boxes. Although the serivce was less than perfect, Thai 65 still serves the best Pad Thai I have had in the area and I will definitely be back.

Bad Service and cold food. My husband and I have been eating at Thai 65 since it opened. Recently, we went to Thai 65 for lunch.

We were abruptly seated. The waitress seemed nice enough until the menus were plopped on the table in front of us. Once our food did arrive, mine came 10 minutes before my husbands. When his finally did arrive, the chicken was cold and tough, as if it had been under heat lamps and then removed to cool.

We were polite and respectful, the restaurant was not overwhelmingly busy. We will not be back to Thai 65 again. It was an abyssmal experience.

Best Thai I've had....changed to gross conditions- WORST ON AVE. SO - I have grown to love thai food but after several occasions of horrible service and unsanitary dishes (found out after eating!) I refuse to go to Thai 65 anymore. Instead I go to Appethai a couple doors down.

OLD REVIEW: Ok, i usually hate Thai, but this place has a huge menu and is friendly to vegans/vegetarians(well, u kinda have to look, but with a ton of selections, it is easy to find stuff) I love their Pad Thai (no egg, with Tofu). I am also gluten sensitive, but they still have tons to choose from.

I have heard a lot of complaints about this place making u tip and not being curteous, but they have super fast service, and I go there once a week and everyone is really nice. I would go there everyday if I could!!

Tip?!. This place is a great place to get good thai food at a college student price. However a turn off was when me and a friend had paid. Never have I been asked in a forceful way to tip before. It's just not a place where you tip because there really was no table service besides them bringing the food and picking up our plates after. Totally not a respectable thing to do. But the food is great, portions are filling, and my fave comes with a side of rice...mmmmmmmm!

HORRIBLE!!!. The food is so so for Thai, but the customer service is the Worsts I've ever experienced. It's not only me, but other people that I've known to have gone there have the same experience. Rushes customers out the door right after they got their food. Complains that customer didn't give them "enough" tips. Snoody waitress. Just because they are located on the University Ave and get alot of customers, they've forgotten what it means to be courteous.
