WORST customer service I've EVER experienced.
I'm almost embarrassed to have to write this review, but after my experience I feel compelled to share to make sure others don't go through the same.
For starters, their merchandise is vastly over priced for the quality but I was overruled by my better half and we decided to take the plunge and buy a $1500 loveseat. At the time of purchase we were told it would take 6-10 weeks. Well 10 weeks came and went, 12 came and went, 14... you get the picture. No one would return my calls, no one would give me answers, they even had the gall to get hostile with me! Sorry for wanting my furniture that I paid for and was promised several weeks ago! 16 weeks came and I started demanding a refund to which of course they refused. Week 18 came and I decided to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Funny how a couple days after I made this call the furniture was miraculously ready to be delivered.
I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from this company EVER again. I'm glad to see that their Pike Place location went under -- hopefully it will only be a matter of time before the other 2 locations disappear as well!
Habits for the Home.
My wife and I purchased a dining room set from their store in Ravenna.
It collapsed on us less than a year later.
We eventually got a replacement table, but it took some time.
Our family went without a kitchen table for a couple of months until it was resolved.
Their customer service was very poor.
Great Small Furniture.
I just move to Seattle a year ago. I have been looking for a nice sofa, but could not find anything I liked or that fit. Until I overheard someone talking in Wholefoods about this store. I went upstairs and finally found the exact size I needed. A small L shaped sofa, it is like a small sectional. I only paid $1700, which was about $200 less than I found in another store, but most important, thanks to the salesperson, I found the perfect fabric. They were very helpful and very attentive.
I just got the sofa delivered last week. It came about 1 week earlier than I hoped, after about 7 weeks. It fits my small apartment perfect and the we, me and my dog, LOVE it. I was already back looking for other things; they have some small ottomans that I have my eyes on, I am just waiting for my tax return. :)
Terrible Customer Service and Response to Issues. In April of 2007 we ordered what we thought was the best bedroom set we could find. Custome leather and the perfect fit. We were told 14 to 16 weeks for delivery. 24 WEEKS LATER, NOTHING! I had to call 4 times to find out that it wouldn't be delivered until October. The staff kept apologizing but offered no reasonable explanation for the delay. I am confident the order wasn't placed back in April. When the bed finally arrived, the rest of the order was incomplete. I was informed they would have the rest before Christmas. Now, today I had to call and found it the pieces won't be delivered until the 2nd week of January. Oh but a store gift certificate of 100.00 is ours in their effort to say they are sorry. Some apology. Their customer service is terrible. I will NEVER buy anything from this store or their other stores again. They can keep their 100.00. It isn't worth my time to go back to that store again.
