We brought our puppy to "the lounge" for some socialization and play. We were very disappointed with the way that the staff treated us. They seemed to be spread to thin and not interested in our dog. We felt a bit uncomfortable leaving our baby there and came back a few hours later. Our dog was shell shocked when we picked her up, tail between her legs. We asked the staff how she did and they said, " She's too shy for this environment." We were a bit surprised because she does very well at her groomers, always happy to go there and play with the other dogs. Maybe downtown dog lounge is too big for a young small breed dog.

Pros: close to our home

Cons: staff is spread to thin, hectic, our dog was scared

Owner is a rude and hostile to customers, staff is overworked and underpaid. Go to sites like Yelp and Judys Book to read about other people's experiences. Dogs get no exercise and no human attention. There just isn't enough staff to do this. I'm an ex-customer who loves my dog and used to believe the hype...don't do it!

Cons: not enough staff, rude owner, they focus too much on looks and not enough on care
