Great cut & color!. True Color Hair Design is a simple, unpretentious salon, with only a few chairs. I must admit that I was a little unsure at the time I was making my appointment, basically because I've been disappointed by so many hairdressers, a number of them in fancy salons with high price tags. But Lisa Marie was very confident she could make me look wonderful. AND SHE DID!

This is the first time in years that I walked out of a salon loving my hair! The cut is perfect for my face shape and features. The color is exactly what I've been asking for from other hairdressers but not getting. It is lovely! I'll come back to Lisa again and again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for anyone who cares how they look, with little daily fuss.

Absolute Great Redhead Colorist. Lisa Marie is and will always be the only one to color my hair. She constantly improves her already great skills, learns new techniques and seeks out the highest quality products. Red is hard to maintain successfully, but with LM I always have a beautiful head of the BEST RED posiible.

A great, low key salon. I have been going to Tanya at True Color Hair Design for nearly a year to get my hair cut. I have been very pleased with the salon and - most importantly - the haircut. I am very particular about my hair and I have been challenged to find a good hairstylist in the North Seattle/North King County area. Most other salons I've been to are either one extreme or the other - either too pretentious, or too fast and sloppy. True Color - and specifically Tanya - are right in the middle. The salon is comfortable and tasteful without being pretentious. The people are friendly and best of all - I don't feel like I'm old enough to be their mother! There has always been free street parking somewhere in the immediate vicinity - sometimes right in front of the shop - and the cost of the haircut is reasonable (under $50 with tip). Also important for me - on occasion I have had to bring my 6 year old son with me and they have always treated him kindly and respectfully. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.
