Editorial Review. Popular Irish pub in South Lake Union offers traditional live music, TVs showing sport and an authentic menu.

Home away from home...... Well, I do have a confession- my boyfriend bartends there, so I tend to go in a lot to pick him up or just to hang out. So many wonderful regulars- young and old, plus new faces all the time. Always a good time, great service, and yummy eats. I am in love with the chicken burger right now, but I also favour the chicken skewers. They also have a Steak Special on a certain weekday, but I can't remember which day. Magners Irish Cider is the the most popular drink there, besides the Guiness of course. People always go to watch the Soccer and Rugby matches on tv. Don't try to make reservations, but if you have a big party, you can rent the bottom room with its own flatscreen tv and even have the event catered!

If you are up for a treat of chaos and music, come in Sunday afternoon/evening. The regular crowd of Rugby boys and others surround the place along with Live Irish Music at 6:30. Lunches and dinners tend to pack the place, but it's worth it. Their breakfast is a real treat too- I enjoy their french toast w/orange infused syrup and the eggs benadict.

No happy hour drink specials, but at very good prices.

It really truly feels like my 2nd home- friendly atmosphere where everyone gets along, friends or strangers.

BY THE WAY- New Paddy's location opened in January at 815 Pacific Avenue in Tacoma! It's 4 times the size, kids are alound in the restaurant until 9pm- and it is just as busy if not busier! Gotta check it out!

I LOVE this place!. We love to eat here for the atmosphere and the food. The staff is always very friendly. The Guinness beef stew is delicious, as are the steak sandwich, cheeseburger, potato skins, french fries, well, everything. You can't beat this place when there's a fire in the fireplace and you're with friends. It's somewhat small, but there's a patio when the weather's nice. I highly recommend Paddy Coyne's for a bit of the old sod.
