Chocolate is Cool!!. Very down-to-earth, fun tour. Enthusiatic tour guide took a small group of us step-by-step through the chocolate making process. You see every machine, find out how it works, and have the different tastes of chocolate explained. It also gives a good perspective on the differences between their process and practices and why fair trade and organic is important. There were so many chocolate and confections samples I felt a little sick afterwards. The chocolate they make is very special and different-- I especially liked the chai bar, and if you like strange flavors you can't do better than coconut-curry. Remember to call first (especially on weekends) to schedule the tour.

Amazing chocolate experience!. After attending a fabulous Chocolatada (an evening of sweet and savory food and drink by a fabulous chef!) I can't stop talking about Theo to everyone I meet. With a dedicated focus on organic and fair trade cocoa, our tour guide Pamela had a passion, play and contagious excitement for everything cocoa. Ive never had a tour be so much fun, so informative and so delicious all at once!

Seattle has been known for coffee and grunge for years. I think Theo is at the head of the next big thing!

Forget Willy Wonka--delicious smells emanate from this organic, free-trade chocolate factory in the heart of Fremont.. In Short
Hidden inside the historic Red Hook Brewery Building, this heavenly factory does it all; from roasting the cocoa beans to hand-forging their truffle-like "confections." The tour, a crash course in chocolate engineering, illustrates how a cocoa bean becomes a chocolate bar--and includes a sample, naturally. The on-site store features a selection of Theo's chocolates, including their bars and "confections" with offbeat flavors like chai, chipotle spice and earl grey.
