Family-friendly, warm service, big portions.. Kid-friendly, nice service, big portions. If you’re eating light, veggie burrito is surprisingly flavorful for being, essentially, a pile of veggies, beans & rice. But plan to take home 1/2 or you’ll undo your virtue w/volume.
Local favorite.
We call this place "Charmingly Adequate" because they proudly post a newspaper review of the same title in their foyer. I would say it is better than adequate though.
We can always get a seat and it is very kid friendly. There are big tables and small, and separate dining room and bar areas.
The food is solid. Their salsa and chips, and their drinks are great. I think their vegetarian fajitas are to die for.
Great place!. This was a great addition to the ethnic restuarants popping up all over the Columbia City neighborhood. I eat out a lot and just walk down the street to eat here. I'm picky about my Mexican food but I've had only one disapointment. The sauce on the Arroz Con Polo is a little too sweet for me and the chips and bean dish is lacking. Some dishes are pricey, but the appetizer menu has good proportions for cheap. The Chipotle Chicken and Spinach Quesadilla made up for whatever else was lacking. The staff is super friendly and always remembers you if you've been there before. And of course, the Tequila not bad either. The bartender is generous with it.
