"Wow, ever since I moved here 14 years ago I loved the Fuzzy Wuzzy Rug sign on South Fourth. Well recently we had a bit of a flood issue and I needed a shag rug cleaned. I searched rug cleaning and there was fuzzy Wuzzy, a perfect opportunity, so it seemed. I called 362 1892, spoke with Terri (sp) told her my deal, an 8x8 shag synthetic rug needed cleaning. She quoted me, on speaker phone here as my wife listened, 98 cents a square foot, plus a 20% cash discount for cash. Go to the Lake City Corry's to drop it off. Off to Corry's with my rug I go. The clerk at the counter quotes me 1.50 per sq ft. I tell her Fuzzy Wuzzy quoted me .98, plus 20% off for cash. She called Terri, spoke for a minute, then told me it's 1.50 per sq ft. No apology no correction, just a screw you, a buck fifty from a rude clerk. I came back home called Terry, asked Terry about the discrepancy and she LIED, YES JUST BALD FACED LIE, telling me she said 1.50 on the phone. I told her her call was on speaker phone and my wife heard her as well, 98 for synthetic, 1.99 for wool, 20% "cash and carry" her exact words. I could not believe my ears told he that is not what she said. She LIED again, I was blown away, I said " I can not believe you are lying" and hung up. Cute sign or not I will NEVER use Fuzzy Wuzzy or Corry's. I understand if someone makes a mistake on a quote, I have done it in my business. I say I made a mistake and try to honor the price i quoted, I NEVER Just LIE. Way to go Terry, you lost a customer for life. " Fuzzy Wuzzy is Fishy Wishy with Bait n Switch"."
