Absolutely wonderful

Having cruised previously on Carnival Cruises (the mother company of Princess, by the way), I had some basic expectations when boarding the Sun Princess for an Alaskan Inside Passage cruise. However, my expectations were met, and exceeded. This is a beautiful ship, with a soaring 4-floor atrium at the center of the ship. Our mini-suite rivaled our Sheraton hotel room in Seattle and went a step further, as it had a sofa, two balconies, and a jacuzzi bathtub. As expected, the dining/restaurant waitstaff was helpful, pleasant and very accommodating. The bar staff we encountered were so friendly they took pictures with my family members and knew my sister by name...apparently several of them calling her "Aunty". It was silly...but made the cruise fun.

The shore excursions my husband and I chose in the ports we visited were entertaining, educating, and allowed us to see part of the country we would never have visited. Every excurision or tour we booked through Princess was great and worth the money.

We will definitely be cruising with Princess again. I highly recommend them to friends and family.
