Burien >Orchid Nails
Confusing but quality work.
I went to Orchid Nails to get my old acrylic nails removed and wanted to know if silk wrap nails would be good method for me. When I tried to explain what I wanted I had to explain it to multiple people and kept getting interrupted each time I tried to explain to someone new. I eventually decided to just trust that they knew what I was talking about and went through the whole process feeling in the dark.
I was seated very quickly despite them being pretty busy. The other clientele were very pleasant. The shop was filled with orchids, had a nice TV on shows like DR. Phil (not my favorite but better then sports) and the Subway next door made it smell wonderful. Adorable, well behaved children amused themselves around the shop and overall make the atmosphere pretty relaxed.
All the women in the shop are quite friendly and the woman who did my nails took her time and put a lot of effort into making sure my nails were perfect and beautiful and they were just what I wanted.
When it was time for my nails to dry she turned the fan on and walked away. Usually in my experience I've been told how long to wait for it to dry. After waiting the regular 5 minutes I've been told when I have had acrylic nails put on in the past. My nails seemed to be dry so I got up to leave when she stopped me saying they were not dry, sure enough they were not and she fixed the little nail I had managed to mess up. It was my mistake but a little more communication would have been helpful.
After sitting for a while longer she came by and turned off one of the fans that was drying my nails and then walked into the back room without saying anything, after 5 minutes of not seeing her again I assumed that I was done and carefully left.
My nails are beautiful and well crafted and I will be going back there again and would recommend it to others.
