Everett >Majestic Cafe
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FOOD!. This is the place to go if you want to sit down and relax for awhile with your loved one or a group of friends. Have a couple glasses of wine while you enjoy amazing appetizers and view the many mouth-watering options the menu has to offer. The service here is fantastic as is all the food. I recommend everyone to give this place a try and I promise you will not be disappointed! I have gone several times since they moved to the new location and plan on going tons more!
Great food for a great price!. We have been to here twice. Once was two years ago and we both had the filet mignon. It was great. This time we visited mid-week on a Silvertips game night. We did not have a reservation but were promptly seated with no problem. We were immediately given water and our server took and brought our drinks quickly. We split the bacon asparagus soup. It was delicious and it was just the right size for two people. My husband had the beef stroganoff and I had the pasta bolognese. Both arrived piping hot and both were delicious. The portions are generous as well. They have a good selection of wines by the glass. I had a new red they were offering, Fruit Bomb(?) and my husband had the Copolla. Mine was ok but his was great. We were too full for dessert. Without drinks our meal was less than $40. It was a great dining experience and we will not wait two years to go back.
One of the best places to eat in Everett!. Yummy comfort food that is a big step up from diner food. When they say "classic American food" they don't just mean burgers. I don't eat meat, but I have enjoyed the stuffed squash, pasta primavera, homemade macaroni and cheese (my husband gets it with the black forest ham), and scrumptious desserts. The staff is friendly, drinks from the bar and wine list are great, and it's always a safe bet when the Seattle friends come to town and want to go out for a good meal. :)
Just so-so. The Majestic Cafe was one of three restaurants mentioned in an article in 425 Magazine about Everett, and being new residents we thought we would check it out. We were debating whether to go to this restaurant or one of the others mentioned, Smashed Tomatoes, but we thought this place would be more like a diner-type place, informal and fun, and would be better suited to bring our two young kids. It was more small and intimate, and a bit fancy. The first thing they asked us when we walked in was whether we had a reservation. The people were friendly enough, and the children's entrees were quite large, but the food was just ok (I ordered their special pasta and my husband had the fish and chips). It was somewhat expensive as well. I was not real impressed, but we didn't have a problem with the service as the other reviewer did.
Crab Cake. The food tasted okay, but for the price, not worth it. I had heard such great things about this cafe that I was excited to try it. Service was below lousy and once my order was placed I did not see the waitress. Never was given a request for beverage either. Very disappointing.
