The owner is super nice and the dog Zippy is cute, I liked my coffee too but just the fact that it wasn't really clean and that there was dog hair on each couch made me feel like I couldn't sit down and be comfortable. If you don't mind dog hair then go ahead and you will enjoy it, but I don't like dirty coffee shops
Could be better.... I walked in with great expectations. What I liked about it was it was very warm and felt comfortable. The free WIFI is also a nice touch. What I didn't like was how dirty it was. My cappuccino was bland and pappery. I was also turned off by the fact I had to spend at least $5.00 to avoid a .50 cent charge. Lastly I felt inudated with social agenda that I really did not want any part of. I was there to work and relax not hear about socialism policies. Overall it was OK I probably will not be going back.
Dirty, Nice Barista, Cute Dog. Let me first start with I hope that the owner reads this and takes this review to heart. When I first waked in I thought "cute". Lots of nice paintings are and lots of places to sit. The menu was nice and varied. They had lots of lunch options. My husband had drip coffee which I think my have been microwaved. I had a bagel and cream cheese and my son had a cookie. Every thing tasted fine. The general feeling was very nice however everything was dirty. The floor had loads of dust bunnies, there were rags on the floor and dirty dog bowls were on the floor. I looked behind the counter and saw a filthy blender, bunch of clutter on the floor behind the counter. I hope that Zippy's cleans up. They have a nice place, It just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
