Bird Is the Word!. I'm new to Seattle and I was dreading finding a new stylist. I had heard of Salon Chemistry from girls I work with so I booked an appointment with Bird. My highlights have never looked better! She said she didn't even use bleach. My hair is so soft! She updated my hair cut and now I look up to date, but still myself. I've never had such a great experience at a salon. I would recommend Bird to anyone!

Boutique is the way to go!. My ex had done my hair for YEARS. I was scared out of my wits to go somewhere else when I found out my ex was moving. I was referred here by a friend with impeccable taste so I bucked up and gave it a shot. I was NOT disappointed! dallas is a pro and is just an amazingly nice guy. As high-end as the place was they were all very down to earth. I will go back for more for sure.

I loved my cut color and extensions. Omg! Lindsey is such an amazing hair stylist. I love my color and extensions I would never see anyone else. She is always upbeat and super friendly. I always feel so relaxed in Lindsey's chair. Even though she hasleft salon Chemisry and recently moved to a salon called Hedman's on Mercer Island I will follow her anywhere!!!! If you want an amazing color and cut go see Lindsey. She wont do you wrong!!!!

Salon Chemistry. Salon Chemistry is a great place, with good stylists, Dallas and Melissa have exceptional skills. Although Melissa Reetz has moved to Hedmans on Mercer Island. I am going to have to travel further for my extensions and color but it's going to be worth it.

Have never gotten this many compliments on my hair.... I have never gotten as many compliments on my hair ever since I started going to Melissa. I love my cut & color. She's so great that I've followed her to Hedman's on Mercer Island when she made the move in fall of 2009.

Curly hair nightmare. I came into the salon for a trim, and was immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere.

I talked with the stylist about how it's taken my thick wavy hair FOREVER to grow out, and how I have finally gotten it to a length and style that I like. She looked like she was listening. Apparently she wasn't.

Because she then proceeded to ignore everything we talked about and spent a good 45 minutes destroying my hair with thinning shears until I looked and felt like a scraggly malnourished version of what it was only one hour before. Not only is it extremely thinned out, but because I have course wavy hair, the many different lengths created by the thinning shears have made taming frizz nearly impossible. This cut will literally take at least a good year to grow out.

This might be a decent place if you have standard, easy to manage hair. But with curly hair, one type of cut does NOT fit all, and this place is not a place I would ever step into again.

Best Blondes!. Excellent service! The staff at Chemistry is so amazingly talented, and nice. I am at ease every time I walk in the door. My stylist is a perfectionist, and I never leave without looking my best. Dallas is amazing with blondes, and Melissa is awesome with extensions! I have never had a better haircut in my life! I HIGHLY reccommend Salon Chemistry!

I highly recommend this salon!!. I have curly hair and it's usually incredibly difficult to find someone who knows how to cut it well. Salon Chemistry was taking part in a fund raiser and I thought I'd take a chance, so I read reviews and scheduled a visit with Melissa. Although it was 10pm on a Saturday night, Melissa (and all the staff) was really friendly and professional. Melissa gave me a fantastic haircut, and one of the best shampoos I've ever had (my favorite part of a haircut, if done right). I was totally impressed and will definitely be back!

Amazing. I can not express how proffesional and fun of an environment it was at Salon Chemistry.. I am really picky, I have curly hair and never get good stylists. Missy is an amazing artist and I am very happy with my cuts and colors. My wife got extensions from Missy and has been back four times!
