RENTERS BEWARE!!!!
Kathy Lehman became my property manager in July 2012. I moved out in March 3013 & never met her. I put in multiple maintenance requests and all of them went into a black hole. The water literally trickles from the faucet & I was told I could ask a neighbor to fix things in the house. (I think not)
She did not seem to notice that I existed until I decided to move. Then she decided to hassle me & say I did not pay rent when I did. I was forced to get bank records (at my expense) to prove to her that I did pay. I think she made it up, hoping I did not have records so she could rip me off for additional rent. There are a LOT of posts on the web warning people about this company, pay attention - they are there for a reason.
When I moved out she actually held $100 of my deposit just in case I do not pay my utilities. I have never experienced living in a property managed like this, I hope I never do again. Sadly she is forcing me to sue her for double my deposit. Sigh.
I am posting this everywhere to warn people that she does not follow Washington State laws & to encourage others mistreated by her to stand up for their rights & sue her so she starts following the law!!
Worst customer service ever. I dealt with Tony Morales who never once returned my calls in the year that I lived in my RPA rental and if I did by chance catch him on the phone, he was incredibly rude. Other tenants I spoke with had similar experiences with him too. I had people enter my apartment without permission or warning, my maintenance requests were ignored, and I finally started taking photos, recording phone calls and documenting every request or interaction I had with RPA (Tony) because I felt the whole thing was very sketchy and never felt good about doing business with them. They acted like they were doing me a favor, rather than treating me like a paying customer. Beyond that, the property was not safe to live in, and at the end of my lease they tried to charge me even more, luckily I'd already planned on moving out of this nightmare.
Bad 1 year experience. Left the rental in a Magnolia because of the unprofessional property manager Tony Morales. Unprofessional because 1) Delayed in responding to concerns via phone and email. Took days to weeks to get a response from Tony 2) Personally Tony had no tack in dealing with problems. He was very condescending and rude. 3) He was delayed in informing us about a remodeling project to the bathroom and we had to go 3 days without a working shower. I will never rent from RPA management and would not recommend them to anyone.
Worst Rental Experience I've Ever Had. Whatever you do; do not rent from RPA. Our property manager (Joanna) was completely unhelpful and unresponsive. Four months after I moved out, she still owes me reimbursements from money she over-withheld for utility bills. I don't know why there are so many positive reviews on citysearch. If you really want to see what it's like to rent from RPA, check out the reviews on yelp.
great!. Thanks for doing such an excellent job all of these years. My family appreciated your diligence in protecting and maximizing our investment. Its been our pleasure to do business with you.
Great mgmt!. Just a quick note to thank you for another great year. The level of service you personally provide allows us incredible freedom. I appreciate your attention to detail and understanding of the local market. Without your expertise I would be struggling to keep my company and the real estate under control.
Thanks for everything!. Tony and RPA have been managing my investment properties for the past 10+ years. At one point I was considering selling my properties due to the hassles of management. Since turning the responsibility over to Tony, I no longer have to worry about anything. Tony provides me timely monthly reports and only calls me if there is a serious issue that he feels I would want to know about. I cant recommend Tony and his services high enough.
great. we have had several transactions with rpa. homes bought and sold and property management services. we have always had a pleasant experience and are very happy with RPA. We will use them in the future for any other real estate transactions.
Great Seattle Property Management with a smile!. Let's see, where do I begin? How about me just saying THANK YOU! I can't tell you what a difference it makes having a Seattle property Management company that really cares as much as RPA does. I never have to wait for anything. If a call is made, it always gets answered. If something needs fixing, it gets fixed right away. I love the personal touch that you provide in addition to your great Property Management skills which to me is a really big plus. The people with RPA seem to actually love what they do and it shows. Just wanted to say Thanks RPA, for always doing your job with a smile!
Thank you Brandon!. I had been leasing an apartment from RPA for the last two years and had been relatively happy living there. However, the apartment was becoming too small and my commute to work too long. Brandon Brinegar, property manager with RPA, was able to help me locate and lease a larger place, closer to work. I love it. Thanks again.
