In Short – This cozy spot in the bottom of an apartment building is everything a neighborhood bar should be--varied, comfortable and affordable. Any given night might feature well-dressed operagoers mingling with scruffy hipsters at the white plastic bar or watching projected indie films from candlelit tables. The drink menu offers a small-but-solid selection of wine, specialty cocktails and other Spanish drinks like sangria, Kalimotxo (red wine mixed with Coke) and Clara (light beer with grapfruit juice).

I enjoy Solo.

I go to Solo at least once every two weeks. The drink selection is very nice, I really enjoy the staff, and the food is good. The food portions may be a little lean but it seems that Solo not meant to be a place you go for dinner, but for drinks and semi-exotic appetizers. And they are good. I give Solo big thumbs up and that's why its one of my most frequent stops.
- Pros: Friendly and artistic environment.
- Cons: Would like more live musical variety.

Solo is a great neighborhood bar! It's a great place to go before or after a show, on the way to a movie or just to hang out.The live music and d.j. nights are always a blast and the staff are hilarious and inviting.
I recommend checking out their food menu too. They have some tasty meat and cheese plates (amongst a ton of other menu items) and delicious hummus!
Check out Solo if you get the chance, it's definitely one of my favorites!!
