SUPER. This is the only place I buy sneakers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The clearance sections are a must and the socks are great. (It's about time men have a good/fun selection of socks).

Example: great place for good bread. What made it unique or special?

great shoes and socks!. Holy crap this place has a lot of socks! Socks with owls? yes! Socks with cats? yes! Argyle socks? yes! Striped socks? yes! And it goes on and on. They also have a great selection of sneaker brands including most colors of Saucony Originals. If you haven't checked out this place yet, I highly recommend it as it's a fun place to shop with nice people.

A Very Cool Place with Nice People and Shoes. a cool place to shop. Don't let one negative nancy spoil things for you. Clearly the previous reviewer does not understand the difference between a manufacturer's defect and something that's been broken by the customer. I don't know many places that would take back a broken child's novelty product after 6 weeks! The Sneakery actually knows good customer service and has a great selection of fun and reasonably priced sneakers. Plus a great selection of socks.

Poor Customer Service. I bought my first pair of shoes here in March of this year--rainboots for my daughter's easter basket. They wore out (large hole) within 6 weeks with 2-3 day/week wear. I attempted to return/exchange them and they refused. I spoke with the manufacturer who said--yes the boots are defective but we do returns through our retailers. The retailer will of course be able to return them to us and be compensated. I sent this information back to The Sneakery and they stated that they still would not return them. That although the manufacturer felt the boots were defective they felt that they were simply "well loved" and that it was not unacceptable that they should wear out in less than 2 months.

I would not recommend shopping here. They do not stand behind their products.

Editorial Review. Independent Ballard shoe store offers affordable styles, from printed rain boots to Converse and other fashionable sneakers.
