In Short – Only those with the manliest appetites should brave this Southern-style barbecue joint, where chicken comes in half, whole and "bucket" sizes, ribs are ordered by the pound, and meals can include one, two or three kinds of meat. "Sideboards" include coleslaw, barbecue beans, potato salad and macaroni salad. The sparse interior is decorated with Old West knickknacks, including antlers and wagon wheels, while country Western favorites play in the background.
Great Atmosphere. Good food

I was recently in for a dinner for two at the Longhorn BBQ in Auburn. Even tho it is a little out dated visually don't judge this book by its cover.
The food here is amazing and just when the lights go out, put the women and children to bed. It's party time. Not for the faint of heart tho. Just above the door while entering it should read Explicit Lyrics. Nothing too bad but I wouldn't recommend bringing your local pastor out for a night on the town.
- Pros: Food, Music
- Cons: Terrible Hostess/Wannabe Manager
Great food, bad service

I really enjoy myself everytime I go to the Longhorn except the last few times. I have a special way that I like things and there is only one server that ever seems to get it right for me, I believe her name is Tiffany. My wife and I have been going there for the past few years and we have learned to ask for this server by name so we know we will get the best service possible. She hasn't been working the last few times we have been in there and it is a shame. We continue to get the most rude, most unprofessional, and the most high strung server that we have ever seen at any restraunt. I cannot rememebr her name at this time but I believe it starts with an R. My wife and I haven't came in a few weeks do to the fact that we do not want that kind of service again. Although we have had good service from a younger girl also but we are hoping to come back and our favorite server will be working.
Overall the food is amazing and the music from the bar is funny but should wait till later in the night for all the "adult" music. If anyone goes to the Longhorn in Auburn just opt for the bar to get better service or ask for a server by name!
- Pros: Fun show, great food
- Cons: This one server should not be working with customers
Good Food, Great Service!

I ate at the Longhorn last night and thoroughly enjoyed myself, and of course my meal. I shared a Rustler for Two with my boyfriend, which came with three meats and four sides. We ordered the turkey--absolutely delicious. It's not like that turkey you have at Thanksgiving. It's very moist, and I'd have to say the best turkey I've ever had. For the other two meats, we ordered ribs and ham--loved them both. Our side dishes were great as well. We ordered a baked potato, with any toppings you could possibly desire, offered to you. We ordered potato salad and coleslaw, both we recieved massive portions of. Our waitress hooked us up. And we also ordered steak fries for our final side. They are a lot like Red Robin's fries. You're also brought cornbread before your meal, which you can have refilled if you have room... can't say we had much room, but the cornbread was too good to pass up a refill. Our waitress was great, best service we've ever had. Her name was Raina. I remember this because I love the name. If you get her, you're in luck! We also stuck around to hear a little bit of the piano show. Great entertainment! Everyone in the bar seemed to be having a blast. I'll have to try the duelin' piano experience next time.
- Pros: parking, service, turkey, fun, etc.
