This small but well appointed Aurora joint is the place to go for beautiful brews on tap or from the bottle. The mini fire pit is a nice touch.

18 beers on tap and a bottle list that is as long as Aurora Ave...what's not to like about this tavern dedicated to all things beer. If the beer doesn't warm you up the seating around the mini-fire pits certainly will.
Great Beer Selection but, Dick Weekeend Bartender. One of the best bars in Seattle with a great tap lineup and lots of bottles. You can find some beers here you can't find anywhere else. But watch out for the weekend bartender named Ken. He is a huge dick and will kick you out after two beers if you look at him wrong. He told me I had to leave because he had, "A problem with other people drinking too much." I have been going there for years I was blown away by this. Since there are a plethora of bars around Seattle I will not be back on the weekends. Instead of having an attitude of friendship and comradery with other bars and beer people in Seattle they fight with others and cause rifts in the beer community. Hey Uber, stick to the great beer and stop being dicks!!!
Best Beer Bar in Seattle. Go before it gets too well-known. Uber Tavern is amazing on several fronts. First the vibe: Upon entering this tiny gem you are greeted by a round fireplace bar made by a local artist. It?s kind of a communal table masquerading as a small bonfire. Sometimes it?s taken up by a group, other times shared by strangers. The music is varied & intelligent. The Main Bar is big for such a small space, very wide & great for spreading out with food, laptop (free wi-fi), a fishbowl-size goblet of beer, etc. But the best thing about the bar is Uber?s giant glowing glass-door cooler behind the main bar, showcasing all their fancy bottled beers. Now about the beer--and let me tell you, unless you?re Mr. Drinky McBeermaster, it?s a good thing the bartenders are so beer-wise. I have never seen a more varied, exotic, and fun beer selection. Great for the beer geeks sure, but if you?re an average beer enthusiast, you?ll need a guide. The bartenders are very helpful here. Let?s just say they are experts at what they do. Now the weird part: It?s a BAR with over 200 beers, yet you can take all of them with you...including the beers coming out of their 17 taps. They even sell kegs to go (the house specialty). Sit there & knock back a few, then to take a mix pack out the door with you at the end of your visit. Uber also has ?growlers? (refillable glass bottle) which you can buy and they?ll fill them up straight from the taps to go. Food there is a BYO thing, but they have ?the Book of Menus? (all the places that deliver there?encouraged). Best of all, not a lot of people know about Uber yet. Being on 75th & Aurora makes it kind off the geographic radar compared to Ballard, Fremont, Cap Hill, etc. So for at least a little longer, it will continue to be a ?locals joint? you only hear about via word-of-mouth. I already regret writing this.
The best beer bar in Seattle.
So I may not review places very often, but I couldn't help but be the first to comment on my favorite beer bar in Seattle. This place is great. A selection and prices that I find VERY pleasing. This is not one of those places that claims to have a HUGE selection, then has every type of major brew on tap. Uber only serves up the rare and hard to find beers. The staff is awesome, knowledgable, always willing to try and turn you onto something new. I overheard one them say the other night to a patron that said he didn't like beer, "you just don't like our beer yet". The only downside is they do not serve any food, but encourage you to byo or order from a list of places that deliver. If you like/love beer you need to swing by and have a pint or two. Oh yeah, they also have free wi-fi.
Cheers!
