The Scene
Featuring a fabulous view and packed with chic folks from the Eastside, this waterfront spot combines upscale fare with an ambience focused on the singles scene. The dining room hugs the Lake Washington shore, offering an oh-so-Seattle view of bobbing boats, tranquil water and the lights of downtown in the distance. Dim lighting and a low jazz soundtrack enhance the sexy mood, while the service is friendly and fluid.
The Food
Start with the Parmesan-baked artichoke dip (opting for the crab topping is definitely worth the minimal extra charge), or try the hearty calamari steak, a nice break from the usual fried appetizer. Diners will find anything to strike their fancy, from entree salads to the decadently creamy, crab-filled mac and cheese to a nut-stuffed pork chop. End the meal with dessert baked in a skillet--the signature Toll House cookie sundae or the sweet apple pie are good bets.

Blu water patrons will enjoy a great view of the water and boat dock while they dine. The place is expensive so you pay for the ambience. I enjoyed the pizza I ordered here and it was a fun dinner out.

Its hard to find a place on the Eastside that serves an affordable brunch where you dont have to wait two hours for a table. We are having our kitchen remodeled, so we've been eating out much more than normal, and decided to give this place a try since its right down the hill from our condo. When we got there for brunch it was crowded, but we were seated within just a few minutes in a nice big booth by the window. This place has a great view of the marina and Lake Washington. I had the crab benedict, and my daughter had the french toast, both were wonderful! Our server was polite and friendly, and i thought the restaurant itself was quite pretty. We got out of there in under an hour, and didn't spend an arm and a leg. great find, we'll be back!

I work around the corner at the Starbucks from this "new" bluwater (new to us here on the eastside at least). Soup, salad and bread are enough for a light lunch, and the dinner portions are HUGE but watch out for dessert! The Tollhouse Magic really is magical! they serve brunch on the weekends until 4, which is great for late risers like myself, and the waffles are perfect. Wish i made more money so i could eat here everyday!
