Sweet little wine bar with lite bites and a bit of outdoor seating is a fine place to catch up with friends.
A welcoming spot for a quiet glass of wine in the late afternoon or a mildly raucous evening out with friends. Nice outdoor seating, too.

Stop by for happy hour wine deals and light eats. Fave picks: "quick snack" of olives, almonds, amazing feta; and cheese plate with fruit.
Lovely surprises await visitors to this tiny, comfortable Capitol Hill wine bar..
In Short
A small space with a soaring ceiling and generous windows, this friendly hangout combines a special coziness with striking notes of artistry. Upstairs features low, comfortable couches while downstairs is built around a curved wood bar. The wines are limited to boutique northwest selections, and change every few months--trust the staff for great recommendations. The generous canapé plate makes a tasty meal for one; follow up with a not-too-sweet cheesecake or warm chocolate cake.
Finally a great wine bar on Capitol Hill.
Poco wine room is intimate and stylish. The wine list is great - with a rotating list of wines by the glass. A focus on boutique wines from the Northwest guarantees you'll find something out of the ordinary. Having a rotating menu means you can keep going back to try new wines by the glass.
The owners have insisted on exceptional quality food. Their cheeses and desserts are delicious. (And, they serve Cafe Vita coffee if you've consumed too much wine.)
The staff and the owners are very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Awesome place to relax at the end of the day. The new happy hour has $2 off wines by the glass.
sexxxy wine bar. Love LOVE *LOVE* Poco Wine Bar! I hope to return often to work my way through their menu of NW wines. Cool selection of smaller boutique wines, fun to try local flavors, and also more recognizable labels. Small enough to be inimate, spacious enough to find a cozy nook. Gorgeous, creative decor from the ground-floor bar to the sexxxy urban lounge upstairs. The owner and staff are young, hot, friendly, and knowledgeable, generous with pours. Great selection of artisan cheeses on the menu -- the Humboldt Fog was creamy and dreamy. Capitol Hill is lucky to have such a warm, chic hideaway. It would make a fabulous place to hold special events, parties or receptions.
