I had ordered some glasses on-line but they turned out to have some defects, so I called customer service and asked about exchanging them. The person I spoke to was very helpful and offered to send out replacement glasses right away. In a couple of days I received my glasses by priority mail. For years, I have been using my trusty Zojirushi coffee maker, but I was spoiled during a recent vacation drinking espressos almost daily, so I thought the time was right to invest in an espresso machine. After scouring the internet one night for espresso machines, I soon realized that I was in over my head â?? there were simply too many machines to choose from. Fortunately, I came across a link for espresso machine reviews by the knowledgeable staff at Seattle Coffee Gear, and I quickly decided on a semi-automatic Saeco Aroma. I have had this machine for about two weeks now and not only is it easy to use but it makes fantastic espressos. I would highly encourage anyone who is in the market for an espresso machine to check out the Seattle Coffee Gear reviews, and the fantastic offers available on machines at the company's website.
Found out about Seattle Coffee gear from watching videos on every espresso subject. Ordered a few coffee cleaning, and misc. supplies, order was here in only a few days! Very impressed and satisfied with their customer service and fast shipping. I only wish I lived close by so I could actually walk into the store and make purchases. 15% restocking fee for defective products.. Horrible customer service. They sent me a Saeco Delux that was defective. The steam knob fell off, the door sensor didn't work and had to be rigged to get the sensor to register that the door was closed, the steam wand did not produce any steam or hot water, and the coffee came out luke warm. The stiffed me for the return shipping, then charged me a 15% restocking fee on a product they will never sell. When I contacted them about it, they simply ignored me. I will not buy from them again.

Espresso Purchase - Good Service, One Snag. Seattle Coffee Gear sells great products. I found their videos to be fun and informative and eventually felt confident enough to place an order for an espesso machine. I can honestly say that the process went pretty smoothly. The only snag I ran into was their price match. After surfing the web, I did find a lower price which they were reluctant to match because the other guys did not include the "free products" that they do. I suggested that they simply remove their "free products" in order to price match and they agreed. Still, this makes no sense to me. If the products are in fact free, why would they even come into the price equation? It would then be fair to say that you are actually paying for the freebies (Velton Coffee which I am unfamiliar with and a brewer cleaning system which I'll eventually need). Not a big deal but left me a bit baffled as to why they'd do this.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! Our price match is like for like, and we include things like gifts with purchase and warranty duration/support when we're considering a match. Every item has differing margin for us, so we select included items to sweeten the deal based on how much room we have to work with and still be able to make ends meet. If you're looking for a lower price, it decreases that margin and, therefore, our ability to provide more goodies and/or longer warranties on the gear. I hope that provides some insight for you on how we structure our price match deals.

Coming back in the Future.
I was looking for a new espresso maker recently, and so I began trolling through Google trying to drum up some options. I randomly came across Seattle Coffee Gear and discovered that they had a great lineup of Saeco brand makers. I've had Saecos in the past and brewed some mean espresso up with them, so I wanted to to go that route again.
The pricing was right in line with what I was hoping for and the unit got here in a hurry. I'll definitely come back to them in the future.

Seattle Coffee Gear Experience. While I was visiting my sister in WA, she introduced me to Seattle coffee gear! My husband and I being huge coffee drinkers, decided to buy the krups KM7000-pro grinder-brewer from their website. The whole experience was an A+! Seattle Coffee RIPOFF!. Why I was about to purchase something from Seattle Coffee after having major problems with them in the past is beyond me. I guess cause it was a small item, I was willing to take a risk. I always had liked the Salter Aquatronic Electronic Scale they advertise for 68.95. Luckily I had a second thought and decided to see if anyone else carried it so I wouldn't have to deal with them. Well, I found numerous sites that sold this item for half the price. I purchased it elsewhere for 34.95 with free shipping. Not only is their customer service and treatment of people terrible but they also are ripping everyone off with their inflated prices. The nerve to sell this item double the price of everyone else!!! Word of advice people......there are a lot of sites online who sell coffee machines, grinders and misc. items with much better customer service and much better prices. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
