Aldebaran Web Design - Superior Web Designing at its Best!!

When my IT consulting company in Washington, DC needed to reach more federal customers we naturally turned to an expert to sort out this problem for us. Yes, we're IT consultants, but web design is not our forte, so we searched extensively for the right help to achieve our web design goals. You would think we could find a local company, and indeed, there are thousands of choices. However, we were not impressed with the local options, so we cast the net wider and found Jill Olkoski's Aldebaran Web Design all the way in Seattle. It was instantly clear from Jill's own website, services, and the advisory blog posts that here was a professonal for folks who need a pro in their corner. We reviewed all that Jill had to offer, read every post she put online, and all the reviews about her services we could find. Game over: we found our Web Designer. She started right away creating a great looking site with all the features we needed to contact our federal clients. After all, isn't that what you hire a Web Designer to do: get you in front of potential customers? Not only were we pleased with the results, I personally hired Jill to create an e-commerce webstore for me where I'm launching a new backyard birding site this year. Jill brings great technical skills and industry knowledge to each job in an area where it's all too easy to get scammed by amateurs who promise the moon, but just can't deliver. There are some things that one should do for oneself, and when in need of a professional the old rule is still true: "you get what you pay for." Thank goodness Jill was there to help advise and guide us through the myriad issues in setting up a new website. I'm certain my two friends, both practicing attorneys, will soon appreciate the same great service that Jill has provided me through two successive website designs. I highly recommend that anyone looking for superior service and industry knowledge need look only to Aldebaran Web Design for a great web design.

Great Local Website Design & Maintenance for Small Businesses

Jill is the owner and designer at Aldebaran. She's worked on my site a *LOT*, but I have to be upfront and tell you that she's also my wife. Jill made an online customer database for me, as well as a registration system that frees up tons of time for me every week. I actually designed my own website, but Jill knows more programming than I do and made it so that my website was truly state-of-the-art. Her engineering and computer science training make her a great designer, but her psychology background makes it so that she can talk with the rest of us. She has an uncanny knack of figuring out what my business website needs to keep me from burning out. Before her work on my site, I thinking of hiring an assitant, but dreading it. Now I do less administrative work and still have more time to train dogs. Some of her work on the Ahimsa Dog Training site is at DoggieZen (dot) com/class-schedule.html [replace the (dot) with a real period - citysearch won't let me put the real way into this review.] and from there you can look at the more complicated puppy class registration, which she also did. (go to the menu and choose from there) She also made a database of dogs looking for other dogs to play with in Seattle. It's at DoggieZen (dot) com/dog-matchmaker-list.html The impressive part is that it looks really small and tidy to the user (that's us), while the part "under the hood" is extremely complicated. I do know some programming, but I'm not as organized as Jill. I'm amazed at how much she comments her code, so it's easy to go back later and change things. She designs websites and also does website maintenance and shopping cart customization, which I hope to have her do for my business sometime soon. There are lots of testimonials on her website from customers who aren't her wife. ;)

Great Local Website Design & Maintenance for Small Businesses
