Editorial Review for The Spectator Bar and Grill – by Anna Roth

In Short
Fans of lesser-known sports finally have a place to call their own. This hipster-oriented sports bar shows a constant loop of cricket, horse racing, rugby, tennis, NASCAR and other eclectic events along with the usual American classics. The loud, post-college crowd chooses between two rooms, each equipped with a bar: One offers red leatherette banquettes and a pool table, the other has old-school video games and a calmer atmosphere.

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

True hipsters order the PRB tall boy--it comes ironically wrapped in a brown paper bag.

On the Menu

Along with the usual pub grub, the sports-themed menu offers inspired desserts like the Super Bowl Sundae and Darryl Strawberry Shortcake.

We had a group of abot 7 and randomly came in after a bad experience at another bar. The big round booths were so cool with the old school loungey chairs with wheels. We were able to sit and talk, but still feel like we were in a bar setting. Relaxed atmosphere with good looking staff that were fun and very personable! We didn't eat, but the prices on the menu i looked at were fairly inexpensive for what you get. The back bar is great too and has shuffleboard, Pin Ball and table games!! I love it!! Half our group was from St. Louis and they had a blast. Definitely will be back for Happy Hour during the week!

Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Games

Cons: None at press time!
