Well, I was raised in Chesapeake Bay country, and I have to say these are the best restaurant crab cakes I've had since I left home . . . and maybe better than most of them there! But besides the crab, I think that these people have a great handle on what makes a "diner" a restaurant. It's relaxed and easy, but the quality of food that comes out of the kitchen is on par with any place in Seattle. I wouldn't disagree that sometimes you gotta wait for your server, but I suspect that's more a matter of the crowds of locals that fill the place . . . they must know something, huh? I'll be back . . .

over priced and too slow. The food was good, but I don't like cold bread. This place was fully staffed but lacked service and speed. They were so slow and were not very busy. I would not recommend because it's over priced and slow. It you do want to go there the chowder and crab cake is good.

Okay place. I really felt like we were in a club and it didn't set a great vibe for us to stay long and spend a bunch of money. The lobby was PACKED and there was barely anywhere to sit. The music is straight out of a club for young 20 somethings and loud (and I'm still in my 20s!). When we were seated we were wedged in the corner between two larger tables. I actually brushed the guy behind/beside me several times during my meal and my husband had to move the whole table so I could get out to use the restroom.

Otherwise, the server was nice and knowledgable. The salmon on polenta was cooked perfectly and very yummy. The wine was good. My husband's steak was a bit overcooked but still very good.

I'd go back but not for a special evening...just if I happened to be in the area.

How is this restaurant in business?. Went for lunch and felt prices were too high. $10 for a bowl of soup, $8 for a cup. Disappointed in the food. When I pay $18 for fish & chips I'd like to have halibut, not cod. No view of the bay. Staff acted as if they were doing us a favor by waiting on us. Don't waste your time. Go to Elliot's for great seafood, view and staff.

Good Crabcakes, but Fried Oysters are better. This is not a tourist trap even thought its close to the MArket. The food quality as excellent, good wine list (but pricey), service was good, facility is average, bathrooms are clean. The food was really good, but not sure why I would return. There is not a differentiator in the facility, the service or the Food that draws me back.

Try the fried oysters and the Samon. Crabcake was good as well, but I've had better. I have not had better fried oysters. Try the Wild Ginger restauraunt for more seafood variety.
