I admittedly love Fuel. While 19th is my usual haunt, if I ever want to spread my work out, use the free Wi-Fi, or have a meeting with friends of colleagues, Montlake Fuel is the place to do it. There is lots of space, the same great service, quality of espresso and great atmosphere. Plus, one thing this Fuel has the others don't is the Old soda fountain mantle. It is gorgeous. The way the owner incorporated the mantle into the design of the shop is flawless. A little bit of history with an amazing latte! Can't beat it!"

and I'm annoyed not at the coffee, cause I ain't even drinking it right now, and not at the baristas - their nice enough...but I can't get on the darn internet. I'm getting on..than it kicks me off...than I'm on...than I'm off. And I just talked to my fellow surfers: same thing. I know this isn't a wifi business, but they have it, which is GREAT - thank you. But please have it work ALWAYS and not be a place that "has it" but "we're kind of lazy and it's clearly not a priority so if you come in, it might work...orrrr it might not". It's a great feature: my only suggestion would be to attend to the modem or the provider or whatever and make sure it works all the time. But yeah, this is clearly a cool business and a cool coffee shop w/ big dark brown paper cups with neat orange circles in the middle with FUEL stamped on it. Cool. It's got leather couches facing an open window / street. Neat. The chairs are heavy. I KNOW the latte's are good cause'...I just know. They should have loose leaf tea, but oh well. Numi is ok. It's a cool place. DEFINITELY worth checking out. And one more observation...they ALWAYS seem to have just one person in line. I've been here for an hour and I've been meaning to go up and get some more stuff and out of the wood work...theres always one person in line. Sometimes there's 3 or 4, but if theres no one - if theres just no line - that means one person is kind of nicely, patiently waiting in line for their coffee. I think they grow them out of the floor boards. Truly amazing. Every time I turn around and look...a one person quick growing floor board flower person - woila...waiting in line.
