In Short – Wallingford Center's hallway is taken over by this friendly bakery, where neighborhood residents sit at the few cafe tables enjoying a mid-morning or afternoon break. Vividly colored, beautifully arranged flavors of the day are displayed in a large glass case. Chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cupcakes are always offered; special flavors, including carrot, green tea, chai cardamom and peanut butter and jelly rotate throughout the week. Vintage party hats and decorations are also sold.

Yummilicious!

I am not one that has a sweet tooth but I finally decided to try one after I heard so many good things about this place. Boy was I glad I tried it. I am so hooked. The coffee I wasn't a huge fan of but the cream cheese frosting is good enough to convert anyone over to a cupcake lover.

Perfect Cupcakes

by jas19 at Citysearch

Finally got a chance to visit Trophy Cupcakes at the Bravern and it might be the cutest damn shop I have ever seen. The fresh smell of freshly baked cake and buttercream greats you and the walls are this gorgeous Tiffany blue. We had the Salted Caramel and the Smore Cupcake and the Smore cupcake is definitely one of the best desserts I've ever had in Seattle. Perfectly moist, fluffy chocolate cake with a thick, rich graham crust at the bottom and the most delicious marshemllow-y frosting I have ever tasted. I would practically walk all the way from downtown Seattle to get another one of those (which you'd probably have to in order to work off the calories!)

Bravern Trophy Cupcakes

by partycoach at Citysearch

I was excited to see Trophy Cupcakes open at the Bravern when we used to go to Wallingford and a bit of a drive from where I live. I've had great service and delicious cupcakes. I've done it all . . . take out, eat there, brought tons of kids in. The location at the Bravern is difficult to find and it's cold getting there! However, once you're there, the service is great. Wish they had more animal toppers. . . like monkeys!

  • Pros: Consistent service, delicious cupcakes
  • Cons: Cold in the winter at the Bravern
