In Short – Offering open mic nights, comedy shows and live music most nights of the week, this lower Queen Anne bar practically guarantees a good time. A private booth is a great cozy spot for a date and long banquet tables make plenty of room for groups of friends to enjoy themselves. The menu consists of a variety of snack able items like Asian chicken wings, caprese salad and build-your-own pizzas.

Ok for comedy but not much else

Review edited and updated with good news (see at the bottom):
Fortunately, I got free tickets for the comedy show so no complaints there. But I still might not pay $20 to see some comics I've never heard of. Didn't help that the host (in house?) yelled way too loudly into the mic.
This place feels a tad shady with how they serve alcohol and charge for it. There was nary a splash of alcohol in our drink and we were charged full price and a half shot of Bailey's came out to another $7.
Plus, the waitress bothered us at least twice during the show by bringing us the check and taking it back with her when we didn't immediately dig into our pockets for cash. Why couldn't she just leave it and pick it up a few minutes later after we've had the chance to examine the check and prepare payment?
Then when we eventually paid, she gave herself a 40% tip by not bringing us change for the already inflated bill. We waited as the audience emptied out (all 12 of them) so she could bring us our money. She blatantly ignored us, even whilst we were waving around asking "change"? Not wanting to ruin the night, we decided to cut our losses for the night and just leave and write to the manager.
At first I regretted doing so. The initial emails exchanged with one of the owners became very combative and hostile but as soon as another owner was copied on the correspondence, the tone changed dramatically. Big props to Dorothy for commandeering a pleasant resolution. She offered a very generous $25 gift certificate which more than made up for the money we lost that night, plus gave me an incentive to introduce another person to the club.
If you decide to go here, please let it be for a great comedy act that you're willing to pay $20 for. I'm still iffy about the drink and waitstaff situation. Buyer beware, I guess.
- Pros: The act was ok
- Cons: Shady waitstaff, overpriced food and drink, weak drinks
Big Fun at Mainstage Comedy & Music

My Girlfriend and I saw a comedy show recently at Mainstage C&M, and had a GREAT time ! The
comedians were hilarious, and the headliner was so funny that my face hurt after the show from laughing so much ! The food was tasty, our waitress was very nice and quick to bring out our food & drinks, and we'll definitely be back for more ! It's nice to have a fun club like this so close to home, that hosts both comedy and live music. I would absolutely recommend this place to any of my friends.....
- Pros: See my review.............LOTS of Pros for this place.
- Cons: Can't think of any .......
