Great Staff. I have been going to mutliple desert sun locations over the years. The girls here are wonderful. They are always happy to see me when I come it. They make my day. Also there Versa Spa is incedible.

These people know what they are talking about!. My husband and I came in to tan for an upcoming vacation. I was very impressed by the knowledge of the girl behind the counter and the variety of beds that were avaialable. I have only tanned a few times in the past at other places but the results I received from using the medium and high pressure beds here were amazing. In only 3 sessions my husband and I had a great base tan for our vacation. I am not a regular tanner but I will go to this place to get a base for any future trips. They also offer very good specials for new customers.

avoid at all costs!. the reviews are right! all the girls here are so stuck up and are only nice if you buy something from them. i always call to make appointments and they act like they're so busy for everytime i get there and see the appointment sheet my name is the only one written down --- after they "couldn't get me in until 8." i really hate this place and hate that i have existing tans there. almost everytime i go in, i tell myself this time i'm gonna talk to a manager --- but it's not even worth my time. i'm sure the manager is just as worthless as all the employees. please avoid at all costs, suncadia tan is close and so is the tan bar.

great tan, great service!. I am new to the kirkland area and trying to find a tanning salon that i liked, was clean and afordable. I shopped around and found the Desert Sun in the Houghton plaza to be the best fit for me. The girl who signed me up was very imformative and friendly, she gave me what i feel was a great deal. I fully understand the tanning process now after talking to her I would recommend this Salon to anyone who is trying to find a great onplace to tan.

Rude Employees. WHo's minding the store here? It's not clean. The employees are very rude and make you feel like they're doing you a favor by talking to you.Would recommend to find a different location as they're franchised.

Nickle & Dime You to Death. Decided to check this place out because of the newer beds. Well, that is about the only redeeming quailty of this place. The staff loves to pressure sell you on lotions, packages, eye wear, etc. The manager is especially apt to give you the hard sell every time you come in. Do they recall your name if you are a customer? No, but they will make sure to "up sell' each time you come in. All the girls tend to be a bit rude as well and apparantly they think getting the quick sell is better than keeping a long term customer. I won't go back and wish I had never left Sundia Tan which is across the street. Stay Away!
