Jimmy's restaurant. I honestly can't remember if the food was any good because the service was atrocious. Eating there was an exasperating experience. It's as though they don't care about customer satisfaction.
Great Spot. I was meeting some friends for appetizers and drinks prior to the Mariners game. I have to say the staff at Jimmy's was very professional and most attentive. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave you are treated very well. The food was very good and I would recommend Jimmy' for lunch, dinner or drinks & appetizers prior or after a game.
Friendly staff & huge portions. We were staying in the Silver Cloud hotel and were too tired to try to find somewhere else to eat. We were a little hesitant about eating in a hotel restaurant as you expect to be overcharged for average food. We were very pleasantly surprised however. As a vegetarian, there was only one choice for me on the menu, but it was so good we ended up ordering it again the following evening from room service. The portion size was far too large though. It seemed a bit wasteful to serve up such large portions and then have customers leave food. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The service was quick but unhurried. We then stayed on for a drink in the bar, which is very relaxed and friendly. We ended up chatting to other customers and staff, staying longer than we intended. Overall, if you are staying in the hotel or in the area it's a good choice for food or drinks.
Great food, great drinks!. Jimmy's is a very nice, upscale but not snobby place. The food was excellent- especially when comparing it to the close competitors. As a former bartender I can say the drinks from the bar were very professional. The drinks were made with quality products- not your rot-gut alcohols, and the mixes and portions were perfectly matched so that the drinks were not watered down or too strong. I asked one of our bartenders about the booze they use for their well and they were quality- not the typical cheap Gordon's or Monarch or McKormick you find at dive bars and trashy joints (J&M Cafe). The prices essentially matched the trashy joints in price but Jimmy's gave me a way better product. In these tough economic times I will pay for quality instead of cheap, over-priced alcohol. The service was great. The bartenders were very knowledgable and professional. The next time my wife drags me to a concert at Wamu Theater I wont complain so much as long as I can have dinner and drinks at this place.
Greasy and overpriced hotel food. Went to Jimmy's today for lunch for the first time and found the limited lunch menu to be typical of hotel restaurants everywhere which it is. I ordered the grilled veggie panini which came in a HUGE portion with a ton of fries. My coworker ordered the Tiple club sandwich which was also HUGE. My sandwich was pretty good, but was extremely greasy and way too much to eat. The cost for the sandwich was around $12 which is really high for the quality one gets. I'd recommend to them that they cut portion sizes and lower the cost. A few more vegetarian menu items would be appreciated too.
Your best choice in the SoDo district. This restaurant in the Silver Cloud Hotel across from Safeco Field is worth going to even if there isn't a game across the street. The food isn't particularly original, but it's quality. You can either have a casual meal (burgers and sandwiches) or something more upscale (steaks and salmon). The breakfasts are substantial, the lunches are one step above anything else in the SoDo district, and the bartenders and the rest of staff are friendly and efficient. We used the free valet parking during lunch- especially nice on rainy days.
What a place!!! You have to go!!!!!. Jimmy's was a great palce to hang out and have a couple drinks before a Mariners game. The staff was great, very intelligent and knew exactly what they were serving. Over 40 vodkas, great food and may i forget, 8 plasma tv's. Also, i went before a seahawks game and the breakfast was great and filling. I suggest getting there by 9am though. Check it out, much better than Sluggers or Pyramid.
Fun Pre-game and Post game hang out. This place is great, food and service are excellent and much nicer than the resturaunts in the area of Qwest and Safeco. Go, you wont be sorry prices are average but not hotdog prices still cheaper than the ballparks!
Great food, great service!. Can't beat this location! Food and drinks are great! Try the White Cosmo...it was awesome! Staff was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful!
Editorial Review. Stadium-adjacent restaurant and bar offers Pacific Northwest cuisine and standards like burgers and fish and chips.
