As a 7-year practitioner & teacher of yoga, I have studied in a lot of studios around the country, and can honestly say that the quality of instruction at Yogi Way Studio surpasses anything I have experienced before. The highly intelligent & creative sequencing of teachers such as Katerina Wen, Sean Castor & William Phelan are truly unique, sincere and challenging...they've taken my practice to a new level. The evening classes are usually filled with regular practitioners and I found it easy to make new friends in this community. After you practice on the Yogi Way mat floor, you'll never want to use a yoga mat again! This funky, plant filled studio is the cleanest yoga environment I've practiced in and it's filled with light, even on grey Seattle days. If you're tired of same old vinyasa & ashtanga routines, and are craving some serious variety, stop by Yogi Way and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pros: Immaculate studio, creative sequencing, close to Burke Gillman Trail

Yogiway is a fabulous yoga studio. The teachers are experienced, creative and caring. The studio itself is beautiful--with a mat floor that frees up practitioners to move in multidimensional space without the constraint of a typical mat. Visiting teachers, including Edward Clark and Andrey Lappa, provide practitioners with rigorous alternative approaches to the philosophy and practice of yoga Katerina Wen, the studio's director and one of its main teachers, is an extraordinary teacher--her classes are beautifully choreographed and since I started working with her several years ago my practice has deepened and the benefits have extended to my writing and my life. Yogiway's kids yoga and family yoga are also wonderful. All and all, the best yoga studio I've attended.

Pros: Creative unusual personalized yoga, wonderful space
