Great food, great space, great prices. This is a cozy coffeehouse/cafe in a really cool space that they've kept pretty artsy...the exposed brick, the upstairs balcony and the tall windows, make this place feel like a nice airy place to hang out in spite of the fact that it's not actually that big. They have a few yummy lunch items at great prices that you really can't beat. Things like a spinach/pecan salad for $4. I think most of the sandwiches were around $5...and plenty of vegetarian options, including the delicious pesto sandwich. I've been back several times and taken friends there, and everyone loves it.

This dual-level cafe space at the foot of Capitol Hill leads a double life. During the day patrons tote laptops, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and guzzle coffee drinks like water; at night, a funkier crowd sips Lillet on the rocks and plays board games or watches the upstairs TV. The all-day menu features sandwiches like grilled brie or Portobello mushroom with Dijon, and nibbles like cheese and crackers or Nutella on a croissant.
