I've Finally Found the One (Dress).
I came in here for an appointment ready to go through the motions as I had thought I already found my dress else where. I already had the appointment set, so we went anyway. I tried on a few gowns,
nothing really stood out. My consultant (Hanna) was very very nice and patient. She asked lots of questions about what I was liking and not liking. She also asked about my budget and when she saw the other gowns I had in the dressing room, she politely, but candidly told me they would be way out of that range. I thought that was very nice!! Not many places would do that.
Then she suggested taking one more look around and she said she had one in mind that was in another dressing room, so I went and found a couple more still thinking about the other dress I found. She then showed me the one that had been hiding and I thought it looked nice so I would give it a try. As she was lacing it up I knew...I found the one. It was perfect...everything I had said I wanted in my dress (she actually listened to me that whole time!) and it was in my price range.
As I walked out I'm pretty sure there were some curse words said by my family. That was it. I was sold. Then, instead of trying to make me buy the dress that day she waited for my mom and I to talk, and after we decided to get it that day, she told us there was an additional discount on the dress for purchasing that day. I LOVED that she didn't use that as a selling point!…
