On any given day they might tell you they’re out of bread or there may well be an entire baker’s rack full of loaves blocking your entrance, but whatever it takes, make your way into the Seattle Roll Bakery. Despite advertising a number of menu options, they usually are just serving sandwiches, but those sandwiches are well worth the trip out here. Lest you think that all bahn mi, Vietnamese sandwiches, are created equal, you must try the wonderful ones from Seattle Roll. On the freshly made, crunchy-crusted bread, which you can smell baking as you wait for your order, lay only the freshest vegetables, including (watch out!) thick slices of jalapeno peppers. Luckily the cooling mayonnaise and cilantro are there to combat the heat. With a low price tag and great flavor, these sandwiches make a perfect lunch pick up.
