Tofu burrito to die for.
Is this burrito the size of a baby, I dont know, but if it is I feel guilty everytime I eat the whole thing. However this is one of the rare places where you can get a delcious tofu burrito, how they season it is beyond me but it is to die for. They also serve this great hot salsa which I find to be just right. They have a salsa bar. Everyone is friendly. I often come for take out and they even give me chips and salsa while I wait for my food. Honestly I make it here about once a week these days as I can't go long without the goodness. I was just there last night in fact.
Gordito's Healthy Mexican Food.
There is a restaurant upstairs, a bar downstairs (over 21 only downstairs). I was hesitant at the word healthy at first but found out that the food is really pretty good. There is a wide variety, prices are reasonable (you definitely get what you pay for as the servings are healthy). For those of us that are used to hamburger in your mexican meals forget about it though. No hamburger here. I'm not sure of all the meats but I do know they have steak and chicken which is grilled, juicy and flavorful.
The bar downstairs is okay. It's nothing fancy but the dinks are good and priced reasonable. They have a small selection of house drinks and offer one beer choice for a measly 1.50 a can. Can't find that many places nowdays. It can get pretty busy when something is going on at the event center across the street but the small staff seems to keep up the best they can.
I've eaten there a more than a few times and stopped in for drinks a few times. I've never been disapointed although there is room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness in the bathrooms downstairs.
