In Short – The Mardi Gras-on-acid decor (loud music, glitter, Day-Glo and kitsch) seems an appropriate setting fort the hipster Capitol Hill clientele. The menu is a fairly standard--burritos, tacos, quesadillas--with a few quirks thrown in for good measure. To put a new spin on the traditional, try a dollop of the pungent, cumin-lime sour cream. The fresh guacamole complements rather than dominates. Most food items are made from local, organic ingredients.

Inconsistently Served?

Um, half of the times I've been here, I've ordered a burrito to go with no problems. The burritos are awesome. The other half I have been met at the door and refused to-go service because I am not of age... to take out? So now I'm just confused as to whether I should try again.
- Pros: Awesome burrito!
- Cons: Not sure if I can eat here

Hi eatinlady, I'm Matt the chef of the Iris Grill in Issaquah. I feel truley horrible about your experience at our restaurant and I would very much like to get some more specific feedback. I honestly haven't been able to stop thinking about your critique and would like to talk to you about the menu as I am always striving to get better. I hope we can turn this around. When I first moved to Seattle, I was smitten with BBBK. The lime crema and well made burritos were a comfort to me, having just left Southern Californias heavily mexican food saturation. I was looking for a good mexicali meal when I found BBBK. Now it has moved and the flavor is gone. The cantina is fine, but it is not fit to be called Bimbo's.
