So Expensive!. The atmosphere is a bit nicer than most bars, but come on guys Really? How the hell does my top shelf Vodka Martini cost $12 and my Double Well Vodka Tonic cost $14....You have GOT to be kidding me. I always get top shelf when drinking a Martini and they range from $7-$12 but I have NEVER been charged $14 for a double well drink...what a joke. Our group finally just went out into the car a did a bit of pre-funking to avoid paying this insane amount. Classy, I know, but the price is just BS.

Website????. It's a cute place, but not very big at all. The owner needs to downsize the humongeous seats and tables, they look cool but they're not practical and he needs a website...and someone to keep it updated! You're taking a gamble going there on any night of the week because you're never sure if there's a band or if it's even open! Arrggghh

Nice classy spot. Babalu's on 45th and Wallingford is just what Seattle needs- A classy place with a good clientele. When you step into the place your amazed by the beauty and high standards it demonstates. They have a real nice Salsa night with 2 bars (A rarity in the salsa community) The male bartender on wednesdays is cute as hell and makes a damn good Mojito. Highly recommended to take a date to. YOU need to check this place out.

Good Salsa Spot. Coming here as a visitor, I really enjoyed the scene at this bar. The only complaint I have is that the bartender was a was EXTREMELY rude, but nothing a little salsa can't handle! There are a great amount of dancers and everyone is friendly. Whether you are from out of town or not, this is a great spot for dancing on Wednesday nights!
