New ownership?. Why two stars? Casa Garcia used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire greater Seattle area. The portions were always large. The food was always cooked and spiced perfectly and it was hot when it came out. The salsa was amazing. It was always nice to get the little portion of bean dip when they brought the chips out.

I don't know what happened. I went there today and instantly knew that something was amiss. The same staff wasn't there. The salsa tasted like it was made out of canned tomato paste. The food ranged from just average to horrible. We were told that there was a new cook. I suspect that it's possible that there's new ownership.

I feel like somebody just ran over my puppy. Casa Garcia has pretty much been ruined for me.

Amazing Mexican Food. This is easily the best place for a great Mexican dinner and drinks in Burien. I usually order carry out and have one of Ivan's special Margaritas while I'm waiting.
