Insurance Fraud!!!!!!!! They changed one tire, but billed my insurance for $213.90 for towing.

What a bunch of low-lives! The consumers end up paying higher car insurance because of this kind of fraudulent business practice. Avoid CityWide Towing like a plaque!

5-Star Reviews are ALL Faked - See for Yourself!. IGNORE ALL THE RECENT 5 STAR REVIEWS. They have been put there by new accounts that only ever have 1 review: all of them for CW and all of them 5 stars on the day the review was given - every single one. This is done in response to the very public State of Washington, DOL, and KING5 investigations resulting in $9000 of fines for breaking multiple laws including overcharging for impounds, selling towed cars without notifying owners and before they were legally allowed to, and manufacturing logs (also known as defrauding the State). Their Internet savvy is just as inept as their 'record keeping' as it took all of 3 minutes to audit the profiles of all these 5-star reviews. I actually avoided using them when I needed my car unlocked for precisely this reason.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY! I USED THIS COMPANY FOR A WORK RELATED REFERAL AND WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. I CALLED THIS COMPANY AND ASKED THEM TO PICK UP ONE OF MY CLIENTS AND SEND ME THE BILL. THEY AGREED. THEN DURRING THE TOW THEIR DRIVER TOLD MY CLIENT THAT HE HAD TO PAY FOR A PORTION BUT WOULD NOT GIVE HIS PROOF THAT HE PAID. I CALLED THE COMPANY BACK AND ASKED THEM TO TALK WITH THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT. THEY WOULD PUT ME ON HOLD AND THEN TELL ME THAT THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT WAS BUSY OR NOT THEIR. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO CALL ME BACK AND DIDNT FOR A WEEK. I CALLED AGAIN AND THEY CURSED AT ME AND WERE VERY HOSTILE. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET THE BILL TAKEN CARE OF AND THE MAN SAID "I'LL GET MY F**KING MONEY REGARDLESS OF YOU". i WAS COMPLETLY IN SHOCK. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TALKED TO BY A COMPANY LIKE THIS. I WOULD NEVER REFER THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!

BAD BAD BAD. Note that any positive review doesn't mention price. There's a reason. Check out Seattle Times November 2011 article by Danny Westneat. $800 for a tow for unauthorized parking in an apartment lot.

These guys are a black eye to the industry, in my opinion.

Sleazy, slimy, underhanded, criminal, thuggish ass clowns.. Sadly I don't have the choice of giving them no stars. This is a criminal enterprise by a bunch of cowardly little goons who like to pretend they're all big and tough (but only when there's several of them together at the same time). Do not use Citywide Towing ever for any reason. This is a smack-talking, gutless assortment of miscreants who are big men over the phone - or when they can steal your car when you're not around. Believe me - if you were anywhere around your vehicle when they're trying to hook up they wouldn't have the guts to step out of their little tow truck. If you have any friends who are in jail for pedophilia, incest, abusing animals, or selling crack across the street from the elementary school, and they're about to get out of jail - send them to "Citywide Towing", because Citywide will give them a job in a heartbeat. That's "their kind of guy".

Any of these "favorable reviews" in here are written by the goon owners or the gangsta employees. Notice how the "positive reviews" are all worded pretty much the same way, using the same headline like "Great Service" or "Excellent Job"... and how they come in bunches within a several day to 2 week period. The bad reviews have a lot more "literacy" and more original thoughts. The good reviews ARE PHONEY and a LIE - just like this sleazy company.

Best Towing Service Ever. From the moment the owner answered the phone until we were dropped off at home, this was a great experience after a horrible experience. We were hit by a woman, our car would not run, and our insurance was just okay helpful. They did get us in contact with Citywide. They were very helpful and even gave us a ride home, which was great, as it was 10pm on a Saturday night. Our tow driver was very courteous, and friendly, and the truck was very clean and in great order. I felt safe and taken care of, which really made for the best ending to our night as possible. I would highly recommend. I cannot get over the great service, I wrote this right when I got home. THANK YOU Citywide!

Great !!. I called my mechanic to schedule an appointment, he had me call citywide towing to schedule a tow in. I called them up and made an appointment for the next day at 8:30 am, the driver was on time, and very clean cut and ready for his day, Great Driver had a good conversation that i enjoyed, and my car was dropped off to my mechanic with no extra problem! GREAT JOB DONE!!

Charged an extra $50. Was quoted $148 + tax for an 18 mile trek @ 8 p.m.

Drivers got there after 30 mins, as I was told. They were very nice and good at what they were doing.

Bill showed up on credit card for $198 + tax ($50 more than quoted). Called and asked why and they said time. If they would had told me this I would have gone elsewhere since there were cheaper places.

I would not use them

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. DO NOT use this company unless you want to be lied to, cussed at and have your family threatened!!! I called around 10am and was quoted $138 for an 18 mile tow. The driver himself called and said he couldn't find my car (the dispatcher heard the wrong street). I explained where it was, the color, year, make, model and license plate. By 5pm, I hadn't heard anything from them regarding payment, so I called to confirm that my car had even been picked up. It hadn't, as they "couldn't find it". I clarified my car's whereabouts only to receive attitude from the dispatcher. Finally, by 6pm, my car was on the truck and we were about to pull out. The driver then says "oh yeah, I'm supposed to tell you that there's an additional charge for the use of dollies-$89". Here's the kick-dollies must be used on AWD cars, which I knew-I drive a Subaru. You would think that if you were a towing dispatcher, you might add that small detail. I MEAN REALLY? SUBARUS ARE STANDARD AWD VEHICLES. I told the driver that based on this, I refused to pay the additional charge because I wasn't properly informed. HE THEN EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THIS WAS A SCAM THEY USE TO UNDERBID OTHER COMPANIES BY SPRINGING THE EXTRA FEES LAST MINUTE WHEN YOUR CAR IS ALREADY LOADED UP. Then he drove off, stating that "he was staying out of it" and that "I could call the dispatcher". I called the dispatcher and told him that I wouldn't pay the extra fee, and was then called a bitch, lectured that "it was a quote, I said around $138, and what you don't understand is that you don't always get what you wanted to hear". I asked him to not speak to me with such profanity, to which he said he'd "cuss out my family because he didn't give a f***". The driver was then called by his boss and fired over the phone IN MY DRIVEWAY. He then told me that he would impound my car if I didn't pay the full price. The driver proceeded to have a heated discussion in the middle of my street-screaming and cursing at the top of his lungs and creating an embarrassing scene for the whole neighborhood to see. Now I'm out $250, my sense of dignity, and left with a fear that he might try and retaliate after being fired by harming my property or possessions. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T USE THIS HORRIBLY CROOKED COMPANY!!!
