User Reviews for The University Health Clinic

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

After six years of care, I will not go back to her ever again. I called her when I found out I was pregnant; she does not offer prenatal care, but still scheduled me for an immediate $86 visit without telling me that on the phone. When my Fiance and I got there, she proceeded to treat us like teenagers at a free clinic, taking a negative tone about the pregnancy, and actually had the nerve to say to my fiance, "Of course, YOU'RE not pleased about this." She asserted that the man is never happy about an unplanned pregnancy, when in fact that was outrageously inappropriate for her to say and completely beside the point. We came to her for healthcare, NOT counseling. She had no place to push her own thoughts or feelings on unplanned pregnancy on us, and no place to give us counseling or advice. I wanted a prenatal exam. We never once asked her advice. I was also shocked to find that there was an abnormality on my last pap from 6 months ago that she had not told me about at the time. Poor professionalism in the worst way, and irresponsible healthcare. I will NEVER go back to her, and will tell everyone I know what happened. She caused both of us undue stress during an already delicate time.

Pros: None

Cons: Unprofessional conduct, sparse parking, charged for a visit that did not serve a purpose
